Gucun Park is located in gucun town, Baoshan District, with Shapu in the north and Ruozaobang in the south. It is adjacent to Outer Ring North Road, with Hutai Road in the east and Chen Guanglu in the west. The planned total land area will reach 434.5 hectares (the planned construction land area is 350.3 hectares), which will become the largest country park in this city after completion, equivalent to the scale of three century parks. Park is an important part of the ecological planning system around Shanghai, one of the green ecological cores in Shanghai, and the main project of ecological special project in Baoshan District. The completion of the park will provide citizens with a place for leisure and entertainment, contribute to the harmonious development of society, economy, culture and ecology in Baoshan in the future, and add a new bright spot to the ecological construction and development around Shanghai and even the whole city.

With a planned total land area of about 430 hectares, Gucun Park is a large-scale urban country forest park integrating ecological protection, landscape viewing, leisure and fitness, culture and entertainment, and tourism. The first phase has been completed, covering an area of 180 hectares, "one axis, one belt, three districts and seven gardens": "one axis".

Gucun Park is rich in vegetation. The park plans to launch a four-season flower viewing tour of "cherry blossoms in spring, lotus flowers in summer, osmanthus flowers in autumn and plum flowers in winter" to enrich the connotation of Gucun eco-tourism cluster. While enjoying cherry blossoms in spring, there are February orchids and azaleas.
