Liheshushangu south steet

Compared with high-rise buildings and modern commercial and residential buildings, those old streets, as the accumulation of history and culture, as a symbol of regional culture, will show vicissitudes more or less. A city, whether it is a big city or a small city, without old streets is like a historical trip to an abrupt end. Without warm folk fireworks, it also breaks the cultural foundation of the city. Like a nouveau riche, paunchy and greasy. You can envy his wealth, but you can't respect his superficial wealth. At this point, I am really satisfied with the city where I live. Yixing, a small town in the south of the Yangtze River with a history of making pottery for more than 7,000 years, is known as "a famous town in Tao Dou, China" and has many old streets. Among them, the well-preserved old street, called "South Street" by the locals, stretches at the foot of Shu Mountain, which Su Dongpo said is "this mountain is like Shu", next to the river where Fan Li, who has been boating in the quiet countryside, plays Tao Dou. The ancient South Street of Shushan is located in Dingshu Town, Yixing City, with Lihe River in the south and Shushan in the north.

It carries not only the world-famous teapot, but also an ancient and quiet purple sand spirit composed of water, fire and earth. The ancient South Street in Shushan is so lonely and small, as if you can only find comfortable beauty in narcissism. But beyond that, the beauty of the old street is the beauty of ancient style, culture, folk custom and countryside that modern civilization cannot create. It is a good thing that Nanjie is still in the position of "being raised in a boudoir and ignorant". After all, it can prevent tourists from crowding, pursue small purchases, and destroy the commercial vulgarity of South Street. In Tao Dou's mind, South Street is quiet, impetuous, reserved and restrained. The accumulation of purple sand culture has honed its honor and disgrace. Behind an obscure door, there will be a purple sand story that transcends time and space. Behind the leisurely South Street, the descendants of South Street are also scrambling to catch up with the pace of the times. They used the unique charm of ceramic art to add another deep beauty to the old street. The ancient South Street of Shushan has always maintained its true colors in the long river of history. In the extremely lonely beauty, Taodou has maintained a kind of pride full of Wu culture.

Dongpo College

Su Dongpo, a famous poet, was born in Meishan, Sichuan. During Yuanfeng's reign in the Northern Song Dynasty, he came to Yixing three times, all of which were attached to Yangxian landscape. When he saw the beautiful scenery of the lonely mountain, the mountain was like Dai, and the water was clear and flowing for a long time, he once said with emotion, "This mountain is like Shu." In Ode to Oranges, he claimed to buy a small garden here and plant 300 oranges for his old age. He said, "Buy Tian Yang and give me my old age. From the beginning, it was only good for Xishan. We travel in an empty boat and talk about the journey from creation. " Later, due to the bumpy career, I didn't get what I wanted. In order to commemorate Su Dongpo, Yixing people renamed Dushan "Shushan" and built a "Shu-like Hall" at Dongpo's lecture place. Tomorrow, Freeman Shen, Assistant Minister of Human Resources and Industry of Yixing, built Dongpo Academy, which covers an area of more than 30 mu and has six lecture halls. It is a neutral statue of Su Shi, who gives lectures every month. Kangxi Qianlong was built in the Qing Dynasty, and was later destroyed by the battle of Xianfeng Taiping Army. Tongzhi was rebuilt in eight years and Guangxu was rebuilt in eight years. Every year Dongpo's birthday will be commemorated. 1983, the government of Dingshu Town rebuilt Dongpo Academy.

In Yongding Village, Zhakou Township, Yixing, there was Song Yuanfeng for seven years. Su Dongpo planted the "Xifu Begonia" in Shaoyuan, so it is also called "Dongpo Begonia", which blooms every spring.

Goddess temple

The former site of Niangniang Temple is at the foot of the southeast end of Shushan Mountain, and further east is the Chenghuang Temple. Reprinted "Old Records of Yixing County", it is said that during the Three Kingdoms period, fifteen-year-old Sun Quan became the county magistrate of Yixing County. A thief came to Shushan with his service and was attacked and chased by bandits. In desperation, three young women saved him and hid him in a woodpile, but the three young women were chased by thieves and forced to jump off a cliff and die. After the sun rose, he visited the names of the three women many times, but failed, and set up sacrifices in their places one by one. In the third year of Chiwu (AD 240), a temple named Niangniang Temple was established. It is said that when Song Taiping rejuvenating the country, these three young women became supernatural beings and were given the title of "Third Lady" by the court. This temple is called "Sanfuren Temple" or "Sangu Temple", and later generations respectfully call it "Xiansheng Temple". In the long historical years, Niangniang Temple was destroyed by war and famine many times and rebuilt many times.

In the 20th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty, people from Shushan raised funds for reconstruction. The completed Xiansheng Temple covers an area of more than 20 mu, with three entrances, six rooms with things to see, 19 main halls, five harem buildings, three Guanyin halls and 16 gates. More than 200 bodhisattvas have been enshrined. Every year, the first day to the tenth day of August in the summer calendar is the temple fair day. During the temple fair in the middle of the Republic of China, there was a large flow of people, with thousands of tourists and believers as far away as Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou. It was damaged again during the Anti-Japanese War and then overhauled. After liberation, superstition was broken and the temple was transformed into a warehouse of shushan peasant association. In the late 1970s, Zisha New Village was built on the original site.

The Xiansheng Temple we saw today was rebuilt by Fu Hai, a master of Jingsi Temple in Baoshan, Shanghai, with the approval of Yixing Municipal Government. The new temple was built from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, occupying a whole eastern slope of Shushan. Buildings are stacked, cornices are Zhang Kuo, and the momentum is magnificent. From the mountain gate hall to the top, there are the Heavenly King Hall, the Ursa Major Hall and the Tibetan Scripture Building. Guanyin Hall and Dizang Hall are opposite to each other between Tianwang Hall and Daxiong Hall. To the south of Tianwang Temple is the Infinite Life Hall. Behind and above the Infinite Life Hall are temples dedicated to the Three Empresses. The two halls are slightly smaller in scale and relatively compact in interior furnishings.

There is a statue of Wei Tuo in Tianwang Temple, which has been the practice of Buddhist temples in China since the Tang and Song Dynasties. Wei Tuo is the first of the 32 generals under the four heavenly kings, and together with Kalan, he has become the two great protectors of Indian Buddhism. However, after Wei Tuo came to China, his face was obviously China, and he was wearing the clothes of the commander of the China army. Indian kale was dedicated to lonely elders or Persian kings, and China was only replaced by Guan Gong. The statue of Wei Tuo in Tianwang Temple usually holds a magic pestle, also known as Wei Tuo pestle. In the past, the method of holding Wei Tuo pestle was very particular. If Wei Tuo carries a pestle on his shoulder, it means that the temple is very big and can entertain wandering monks for three days for free. If you have a Wei Tuo pestle in your hand, it means that this temple is medium-sized, and you can entertain wandering monks for one day for free. If Wei Tuo stands on the ground, it means that this temple is a small one, and it can't provide free food and accommodation for wandering monks. It was clever of the ancients to announce so openly that the wandering monks could see at a glance, so as not to be embarrassed when asking questions.
