There are many methods of Taoist practice, which are nothing more than calming people's minds and dispelling other thoughts. Their kung fu is dynamic and static. For example, fetal interest, introduction, Wuqinxi, Taiji Chuan ... If you practice introduction (Qigong), you still need some guidance, unless you really know nothing. Here, only counting information and listening methods are introduced, so that people can understand their principles.
If you often stop and count your breath, it sounds boring, but it is actually very useful. These are all convenient methods of the ancients. As shown in figure 1. Find a quiet place and breathe with 10 as the cycle number to calm yourself down. In the figure below, the horizontal axis represents time, and the vertical axis has two parallel key items. One is consciousness, which is our thoughts. The second is action. What is the relationship between consciousness and behavior? If you don't study Chinese studies, you have to study psychology (this is a university major, which is extremely complicated, and you can find out for yourself if you are interested), but you will find that many details of psychology are wrong or inappropriate if you don't study psychology. Because psychology is deeply influenced by so-called materialism and objectivism, it mainly studies others and never or rarely experiences it by itself. They think it is objective to study others, but they don't know that he has already participated in it when studying others, and can't leave his own subjective factors! In the broad sense of narrow science (what is narrow science, excluding Chinese studies. Broadly speaking, as long as practice can reflect the true truth, it is all science, including Chinese studies. Objectivity is just their own wishful thinking.
If it doesn't count, there will be problems, and there will be many distractions. See figure 2. Many people are used to how much interference there is. Especially at the beginning, the yogi can't calm down at all, and he is always distracted. From a shallow point of view, these distractions are the essence of controlling your destiny, and they are behind people's illness. Some thoughts can also produce actions, but many people don't realize it, and some psychological researchers are also confused. Interpreting them as unconscious and subconscious is actually unconscious, not really brainless. How to rest (in this case, rest)? This picture should be understandable to many people. This is like dust in the air, which is invisible at ordinary times. We think it is clean, but when we are exposed to the sun, we know that the air is full of all kinds of particles. In addition, these thoughts are divided into static and clean. It doesn't matter if people have thoughts, for they are afraid that selfish desires will come and they can't find them at all. They are neither static nor clean. How can people not get sick, how can they not be bound by foreign things, and how can they change their destiny? Without these efforts, most people will never rest. Here is the answer to "Will you have a rest?" The answer to this question. ? But if you ask where these ideas come from? The truth here is very deep, and a whole set of practice and theoretical system are in Buddhism.
