"Quasi-Elegy": "What is the way to die, relying on the mountain."
When a person lives in this world, he always has to face the problems of life and death. This is inevitable and we must learn to accept it. Birth, aging, illness and death are natural laws, and we can't change them, so we should establish a positive and healthy view of life and death. China Since ancient times, countless great thinkers have expressed their views on life and death. Among them, Sima Qian said in Historical Records: "People are inherently mortal, and death is heavier than Mount Tai or lighter than a feather." It is spread more widely. Many people are afraid of death, but it is unnecessary. Zhuangzi once said that people's birth is accidental and death is inevitable. Since you can't change this ending, try to live every day.
View of life and death and couplets
A crematorium in our country posted a couplet: the first couplet: "Come early and come late, you will get it sooner or later". This sentence seems to be no big problem, but its second couplet is uncomfortable. What is this? Crematorium, as the name implies, is the place where the bodies are burned. Since China has decided to practise cremation and abolish burial, it is inevitable that we will come to this place. We came here when our relatives died, and we were sent here when we died. This is inevitable.
Therefore, the crematorium as a whole brings a heavy and solemn atmosphere. When everyone came to the crematorium, it was almost impossible to have a smile on their faces, and everyone's mood was very heavy. It is also for this reason that when the crematorium staff communicate with the families of the deceased, the tone is generally mild to avoid stimulating each other. In addition, the environment of the whole crematorium is quite simple, not particularly fancy.
Couplets are one of the treasures of China's traditional culture, which originated from the peach symbols posted on the doors. There are many kinds of couplets, most of which will be hung in halls and mansions. We are familiar with the Spring Festival couplets posted on both sides of the door during the Spring Festival, but there are many other types of Spring Festival couplets besides those with festive colors.
For example, in a crematorium in our country, couplets are posted, which has no celebration significance. After all, it seems a bit strange to post Spring Festival couplets in such a place. Generally speaking, this couplet is uncomfortable at first glance, but if you think about it carefully, you can find the philosophy contained in it. Its first couplet is "come early, come late, get it sooner or later", which means very simple. No matter who is in this world, he will eventually face death. No matter how rich and social he is, no matter how humble and poor he is all his life, he is equal before death.
Open-minded attitude towards life
The second couplet of this couplet is very uncomfortable, that is, "first come, then come." Its meaning is also easy to understand. Everyone's life span in this world is different. Even if some people are poor all their lives, their life expectancy is surprisingly long, and they can live to 100 years old. There are also some people who are rich, live a healthy life every day, pay great attention to the protection of their bodies, but leave this world early. From this, we can see that we can't predict our own death, and we can't guarantee that we can prolong our lives. Health preservation is good, but it is not absolutely effective.

This couplet seems to give people the first impression that they are uncomfortable. First, it tells everyone that everyone will face death and no one will be spared. Then it tells everyone that even if we are born to face death, everyone's life expectancy is different. Some people may live long, some people may live short, and what's more, they will die because of some unexpected accidents.
Although the content of this couplet seems a little too direct, it makes sense to think about it carefully. I don't curse that we are dying, but I hope that we can cherish every day we live in this world and don't feel worried and sad because of some trivial things or setbacks. In the face of life and death, all suffering is insignificant. Only by facing the future positively and optimistically can our life be peaceful and happy.
