About vocal music changing teachers!
This classmate is actually talking about the level and quality of teachers. I think it is the teacher's responsibility that students don't study well.

I am a vocal music teacher. Among the more than 2,000 students of different levels I have taught, those who know piano and strings are very easy to teach. Because students who study vocal music spend far less time on practice than students who study musical instruments, and even less than a quarter can achieve their goals. Students who can learn instrumental music are often used to studying in the way of treating instrumental music, and the practice time is basically more than twice that of students who only learn vocal music. Even if such a student's vocal music foundation is almost poor, it should be gratifying. It is the right thing to encourage and praise students. How can you humiliate and insult students casually? How can you study well without the desire to sing? So I suggest that you collectively change to a good teacher with real level (including moral level) to continue your study, and don't give up! I believe you will all become excellent musicians in the future.
