Spring is the season when everything grows, and liver qi is in season. According to the theory of five elements in traditional Chinese medicine, liver belongs to wood, spleen belongs to soil, and soil and soil are born together, that is, hyperactivity of liver-fire will hurt spleen and affect its digestive function. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that five flavors enter the five internal organs, acid enters the liver, and sweet enters the spleen. In view of this, the spring diet should be nursed back to health, and it is advisable to choose sweet and warm products, avoid acidity, and mainly tonify the temper. Therefore, below, I recommend several spring spleen-invigorating health porridge.
Jianpi basic porridge
Ingredients: Lotus seeds, Poria cocos, Chinese yam, Euryale ferox seeds and japonica rice (brown rice). The dosage can be adjusted by itself, and the taste is delicious. This is especially suitable for children.
If the spleen is damp and hot, Coicis Semen can be added; If spleen is cold, red dates and ginger can be added; If blood deficiency, you can add red dates and brown sugar; If both qi and blood are deficient after illness, Radix Angelicae Sinensis and Radix Codonopsis are added; If yin deficiency occurs, Bulbus Lilii and Radix Pseudostellariae are added; If diarrhea is serious, you can simply use yam, carrot and rice.
Exercise:
(1) Wash Poria, Euryale Semen and Coicis Semen, soak in water for 30 minutes, then add japonica rice and boil in water.
(2) After the yam porridge is hot, it can be seasoned with salt and sesame oil, or with brown sugar and white sugar.
Pinghe naughty Zhou
Ingredients: 6 fried red dates, 30g coix seed, a short section of yam, 50g of rice (japonica rice). This peaceful spleen-regulating porridge has a mild taste, regulates temper and improves resistance.
Exercise:
(1) Wash job's tears and rice, soak job's tears in clear water for more than 2 hours in advance, and soak rice for half an hour in advance, or not.
(2) Peel the yam, wash it, dice it and soak it in salt water to prevent discoloration.
(3) Stir-fried red dates are broken in advance and boiled in porridge for a while.
(4) Don't waste the water just soaked in coix seed, pour it into the pot, add water, add coix seed after boiling, and turn to low heat for half an hour.
(5) After half an hour, enlarge the rice, stir-fry red dates, then cook until the rice is rotten, add yam and cook for 10 minute. The time to cook porridge should not be too short, and rice oil should be cooked. This rice oil is very nutritious.
Zaowan sheepskin porridge
Ingredients: 50 grams of japonica rice, jujube 10, and 20 grams of lotus seeds. The effect of this morning and evening stomach nourishing porridge is to nourish the stomach and strengthen the spleen, and it can also prevent and treat iron deficiency anemia.
Exercise:
(1) Soak the lotus seeds in warm water until soft, remove the core, and wash the japonica rice and jujube.
(2) Put the three ingredients into a pot, add a proper amount of water, boil with strong fire, and simmer to make porridge.
(3) Eat it in the morning and evening after seasoning according to personal taste.
Baizhu Jianpi porridge
Ingredients: Atractylodes macrocephala, Codonopsis pilosula, Poria, 1 licorice, 3 red dates, and appropriate amount of germ rice (or coix seed). This Baizhu Jianpi porridge can invigorate qi and spleen, is suitable for people who often catch cold, and can enhance immunity.
Exercise:
(1) Add 4 bowls of water to the medicinal materials, fry them into 2 bowls with slow fire, and take out the medicinal sweat.
(2) Add germ rice or coix seed into the boiled medicinal juice and cook it into porridge.
Carrot and potato porridge for invigorating spleen
Ingredients: 50 grams of japonica rice, 50 grams of carrot, 50 grams of potato (yellow skin) and 30 grams of sugar. The carrot and potato porridge has the effects of invigorating spleen, invigorating qi, moistening intestine and relaxing bowels, and can be used for treating habitual constipation.
Exercise:
(1) Wash and dice carrots and potatoes for later use;
(2) Wash the japonica rice, put it in a pot, and add appropriate amount of water to cook porridge;
(3) Add diced carrots and diced potatoes and cook until cooked;
(4) Add appropriate amount of white sugar to taste and serve.
