Cann't the kettle start when you plug it in? Teach you how to solve problems by yourself.
Kettle is one of the common appliances in our daily life, but sometimes it can't be started when plugged in. This article will introduce how to troubleshoot the kettle by yourself.

Check the socket

When the kettle is plugged in, sometimes there will be poor contact. At this time, you can check whether there is anything wrong with the socket.

Observation indicator lamp

Put the kettle on the floor, plug it in and turn on the switch. Observe whether the indicator light is on. If it doesn't light up, try turning the kettle slowly to see if other direction indicators can light up.

Measure the bottom plate with a multimeter.

Use a multimeter to measure whether the backplane is normally powered on. Adjust the multimeter to 220V~, and then test. If you are not sure about the operation, you'd better send the kettle for repair to avoid the danger caused by self-maintenance.

Check the internal wiring of the kettle.

If there is nothing wrong with the bottom plate, then the problem may be the kettle. First, open the base, check whether the internal circuit is open, then check whether the switch circuit falls off, and then check whether the switch works normally.

Measuring heating pipe with multimeter

Measure both ends of the heating tube with a multimeter to see if there is any resistance value. If there is no resistance value, it means that the heating pipe has burned out and the kettle can't be repaired.
