Please identify your linseed oil first.

Real linseed oil needs freeze dewaxing. The test of this standard is to freeze linseed oil in a freezer for 12 hours. If linseed oil is still a clear liquid and has not solidified. It means good oil. If there is turbidity and solidification, it means that linseed oil is blended oil.

Real linseed oil can be refrigerated to avoid light. Generally, it is best to use it up within 7- 10 days.
