Shengji Tongzhi, also known as Zhenghe Shengji Tongzhi, is one of the important works of traditional Chinese medicine, with a total of 200 volumes. It is the product of Song Huizong's imitation of Song Taizong's imperial edict "Taiping Sheng Huifang", but the arrangement of "The Record of Holy Sites" has made obvious progress compared with "Taiping Sheng Huifang". The content is compiled by collecting medical books of past dynasties, folk prescriptions and doctors' prescriptions.
The General Record of Shengji divides diseases into 66 categories, and there are several diseases under each category, which is more clear than Taiping Shenghui Prescription, and it is divided into more than 1000 categories, and the classification of many diseases is more reasonable. Among the recorded prescriptions, pills, powders, ointments, pills and medicinal liquor increased obviously, which fully reflected the characteristics of attaching importance to Chinese patent medicines in the Song Dynasty. At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the government presided over the compilation of Records of Physicians, which was promulgated in the name of Song Huizong. During the reign of Zheng He (11~1165438), Huizong Zhao Ji collected a large number of medical prescriptions provided by the people and doctors at that time, and combined with the secret recipes hidden in the imperial palace, they were compiled by doctors in Shengjitang. The book includes internal medicine, surgery, women, children, facial features, acupuncture, health care, miscellaneous disease treatment and so on. The content of luck ranks first in the book, which is related to Song Huizong's belief in the theory of five movements and six qi.
