Wu 'an Town is located in Nanzhang County, at the junction of Jingshan and Jianghan Plain, bordering Jianghan Plain in the east, Jingshan Mountain Range in the west, Jingmen in the oil city in the south and Xiangyang in the north. Wu 'an New Town is formed by the merger of former Wuzhen, Anji Town, Liuji Town and Liuji Town, with an area of 398 square kilometers and cultivated land area of 147347 mu. It governs 69 villages and 7 neighborhood committees with a total population of 127067, including 79899 agricultural population and 27 168 non-agricultural population.
