Tongliang tuqiao town 1: Ailianhu Wetland Park
There is a huge Ailian Lake, located in Qinglin Village and Liu Ying Village, tuqiao town, Tongliang District. Hundreds of rare lotus species and hundreds of aquatic plants are blooming in nearly 10,000 mu. From mid-June to late August every year, there are 96 rare ornamental lotus species in Tongliang Ailianhu Wetland Park, such as Goddess Statue, West Lake Red Lotus, Dahongpao, Sai Peony and Sun Yuhang. There are more than 5,000 greening trees such as weeping willows and osmanthus fragrans, more than 20,000 greening trees such as emerald plums and four-season peaches, and more than 30 aquatic plants such as peach blossoms and lotus flowers. It is composed of 23 scenic spots, such as Bihe Children's Tour, Ailian Square, Qingshuitai, Eco-elegant House, Lotus Garden, Lotus Fairy Cave, Hu Ailian Bridge and Reading Pavilion. It has the functions of viewing, leisure, photography, entertainment and tea tasting. It can be said that Tongliang Ailianhu Wetland Park is the place with the largest planting area and the most complete varieties in Chongqing.
Traffic Guide: It takes less than 20 minutes to reach Ailianhu Wetland Park from G93 Shapingba-Tongliang Station (50 kilometers for the whole expressway) to the south gate of Chongqing-Suiyuan Expressway. You can rest in the highway service area on the way to the expressway. Tongliang City has also opened a direct bus to Ailianhu Wetland Park.
