The earliest pharmacological monograph "Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing" appeared in Han Dynasty. The book contains 365 kinds of drugs, which have been written by many doctors. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, the imperial court organized a special person to sort out and revise the books on Chinese pharmacy. Masterpiece: Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica is the earliest existing pharmaceutical monograph in China.
