Second, overtime may also be a sign that an employee is incompetent.

Colleagues in the same studio, everyone's daily work content is similar, but some people always finish their work ahead of time, and some have not finished it after work. What shall we do? I have to work overtime. Explain what? It seems cruel to say incompetence, but in the ever-changing information age, efficiency is the primary productive force. If you can't finish the task within working hours, it is natural to work overtime. Even if you work overtime, the boss would rather choose employees who complete the task on time with good quality and quantity. After all, it also saves the company's energy!

If this happens, I suggest you get familiar with the company's business as soon as possible and improve your working ability, otherwise the consequences will definitely not be just an extra class, and you will probably be fired!

Therefore, in fact, the different motives for working overtime directly lead to a completely different image in your boss's mind, and the treatment is naturally different. One may get a promotion and a raise, and the other may lose his job.
