Shouyang County belongs to Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, and is located in the east of Shanxi Province, in the middle and upper reaches of Taihang Mountain and Xiaohe River. Its geographical coordinates are 1 12 degrees 46 minutes east to 1 13 degrees 28 minutes north to 37 degrees 32 minutes to 38 degrees 5 minutes north. The county boundary starts from Gao Qiu Mountain in the north and reaches Pannao in the south. The widest straight line distance between north and south is 61.2km. From Hanshan in the west to Makuhuan in the east. The longest straight line from east to west is 63 kilometers. The circumference of this county is 265 kilometers. It is connected with Yangquan, Pingding and Xiyang in the east, Taiyuan and Yuci in the west, Heshun in the south and Yuxian and Yangqu across the mountain in the north. It is located between Yangquan, Jinzhong and Taiyuan.
