Look at the color of the tongue

Second, look at the appearance.

The fat tongue indicates that yang deficiency, qi deficiency and heavy moisture exist. If the fat reaches the teeth, the tooth marks are often aggravated by spleen-qi deficiency or yang deficiency.

Look at the thickness and color of three kinds of tongue coatings.

1. The thickness of tongue coating often reflects the healthy qi in the body. For example, the thickening of the tongue coating may be due to exogenous pathogens in the body (exogenous pathogens include cold, dampness, dryness, fire, summer heat and so on). ).

For example, after a cold, the tongue coating is often thick and white.

If the tongue coating is thin or even absent, it may be a lack of stomach qi (healthy qi) in the body.

2. Color of tongue coating

The color of tongue coating often reflects the degree of pathogenic factors.

If the tongue coating turns yellow, it is often evil, and the deposition begins to turn into heat.

When the tongue coating turns white, it is often a cold.

There are also small knowledge points:

The tip of the tongue is red-my heart is full of fire.

Wet tongue coating-there is moisture

Dry tongue coating-probably due to yin deficiency.

The sublingual vein is thick and dark-usually stagnant.
