1, cultivate one's morality
Laozi's Tao Te Ching said, "Be empty, be quiet and believe". Laozi pays great attention to the peace of mind and body.
Lao Tzu also said that the highest state of being a man is "internal and external points." The pursuit of fame and fortune should remove the external, and the pursuit of knowledge should remove the inner. To pursue nothing and be as pure as a baby is the highest state of self-cultivation.
2. Health care
Laozi's Tao Te Ching holds that the best way to preserve one's health is "simplicity, selfishness and less desire". In other words, living a simple life and rarely pursuing fame and fortune is the best way to keep fit.
The low-level health concept holds that the more nutrition people eat, the better, and the more exercise they have, the better. Therefore, it harms health. People who pursue the goal of fame and fortune will have this idea.
The intermediate health concept holds that. We should eat nutritious food and exercise properly. People who pursue moderate fame and fortune will have this idea.
Laozi's health care thought holds that an indisputable person can do the best health care if he lives a simple life and does not pursue fame and fortune. This is the understanding of the highest state of health preservation and the most thorough understanding.
3. Fight
Laozi's Tao Te Ching said: Those who are good for scholars are not martial; A good soldier is not angry; Good people, not with. This is an indisputable virtue. "That is to say, the generals who are best at fighting will not threaten others with force; The warrior who is best at fighting never gets angry; The person who is best at winning never fights with others. When others see him, they already know that they are no match. These people have won others with undisputed virtue.
In other words, people who don't compete with others for fame and fortune are best at fighting, leading troops to fight and winning.
4. Governing the country
Laozi's Tao Te Ching says, "Die by doing nothing." . In other words, if the monarch can show his actions like Tao (that is, inaction), then the country will perish.
Laozi believes that "Tao" is the primitive substance of the universe. It is ethereal and invisible, and it has evolved everything in the universe. Because "Tao" has never been revealed, although it has nurtured all things in the universe, few people know it.
Laozi called "inaction" as "Tao" without revealing his own actions.
"Tao" did not reveal its own actions, but evolved everything in the universe. It can be seen that the biggest action is not to expose yourself, and you can do anything. This is what Laozi said in Tao Te Ching: "Tao always does nothing."
The reason why Tao does not expose itself is because it does not covet fame and position. If the monarch can be like "Tao" and not covet fame and fortune, the national luck will flourish and die. This is what the Tao Te Ching said: "Death by doing nothing".
Summarizing Laozi's methods of self-cultivation, health preservation, using troops and governing the country, we can draw a conclusion that an indisputable man who does not pursue fame and fortune can do his best in self-cultivation, health preservation, using troops and governing the country. It is the highest realm of life to strive for fame and fortune.
To reach the highest level of this life, we need to have a deep understanding of life and society. Moreover, after a person's life goals are fully realized, he can stop fighting for fame and gain and reach an indisputable realm of life.
