Man is the product of the combination of body and soul, which are carriers and interdependent. Taoism has a deeper understanding of this. Huangdi Neijing, which inherits Taoist thought, especially emphasizes the importance of combining nourishing the heart with self-cultivation, and emphasizes that "the method is based on yin and yang, and several tricks are combined, and the diet is appropriate and the daily life is regular, so that the form and spirit can be integrated."

Form and spirit are important categories of China's philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine. The ancients believed that man is the unity of form and spirit, form comes from the yin of the earth, and god comes from the yang of heaven. The combination of the two is transformed into a person, and the separation of the two is the death of a person. Therefore, the essence of health preservation is to ensure the unity of form and spirit.

Modern people also have a clear understanding of this. The definition of health by the World Health Organization: "Health is a state of perfect body and mind and good adaptability, not just a state without disease and weakness."

Spirit and body are inseparable, and sometimes spirit plays an even more important role. If a healthy person is unhealthy and full of energy, we will also say that this person is "walking dead" and "distracted". Therefore, a healthy person should always be in a state of "both form and spirit", and the spirit and body coordinate with each other and have a positive impact on each other.

Can it be as soft as a baby? Lao Tzu summed up the essence of health preservation from this to that. We can often observe that the breathing of infants is very different from that of adults. Infants and young children all breathe with deep abdomen, and with growth, we all become chest breathing. In Taoist view, abdominal breathing conforms to the way of keeping in good health and can promote people's body and spirit. When we encounter an emergency, or when the pressure is too great, we will also take a deep breath to adjust our mood and spirit. This is actually a natural instinct for people to return to nature.

At the same time, Lao Tzu emphasized that to achieve the harmonious unity of form and spirit, we must always maintain the innate vitality, be as pure as a child, have a clear heart and have no distractions. If a person can be "soft", concentrate, keep the aura of the early Yuan Dynasty, keep a childlike curiosity, piety and true self, be good at examining himself, reflect on his heart and strengthen his inner spiritual strength, what else can he do badly?

Messi is a football player called "genius" in this world. In him, you can see the heartfelt love, innocence and persistence of football. I think, perhaps it is this inherent initial strength that drives him to develop the football technology of "integration of man and ball". In fact, in any other field, we can find the great energy brought by the integration of body and mind in those who have made outstanding achievements.

Finally, Lao Zi took the Tao of nature as the source to explain the existence of Tao and the necessity of Xiu De. As a person between heaven and earth, we should take heaven and earth as an example, get inspiration from "born without anything, walk without reliance, grow without killing" in the way of nature, follow the principles of nature to deal with personnel and things, and be self-righteous, self-reliant, proud of credit, not imposed on others and not forced to do so.
