How to raise Fugui bamboo in water, raising methods and matters needing attention
Excerpted from Baidu Experience for reference.

In the early stage of hydroponic bamboo cultivation, attention should be paid to changing water in time and pruning roots. Pay attention to details such as light, moisture and temperature after taking root.

1, when you insert it for the first time, pay attention to pruning the roots. When you insert it for the first time, remove the leaves at the base to avoid affecting the growth of bamboo. Depending on the size of your vase, just remove the leaves below the bottle mouth. In addition, use scissors or a knife to tilt and subtract a small part from the root, so that bamboo can absorb water better and the incision should be as smooth as possible.

2, water control and water selection, water can reach one-third of the vase, not more than two-thirds. Change the water every three days before taking root. Don't change the water after the shift, just add water to the vase. When the weather is dry and sultry, you should spray water on the leaves. It is best to use well water or pure water. If you use tap water, you'd better store it for one day before using it.

3. Keep the indoor temperature. Fu Guizhu is suitable for growing in the range of 16 to 26 degrees, and cold is easy to cause plant death. Don't put it on the balcony, window and other cold places in winter, and don't let the water freeze. Anti-freezing measures can be taken when necessary.

4, to ensure adequate light, water bamboo is generally placed indoors, although the requirements for sunlight are not high, but if it is not exposed to sunlight at all, it will also make the leaves yellow and grow poorly. Therefore, it should be placed in a bright and ventilated environment as far as possible to make it fully exposed to light.

5. Fertilize once a month. For plants raised in water, we generally ignore fertilization. In fact, fertilization can make plants grow better. Just add water to the rich bamboo and fertilize it once a month. You can choose the professional fertilizer in the flower market, or drop a few drops of dissolved vitamin C 1 when adding water.
