Long summer (May 5 to May 20)

At the beginning of the long summer, the temperature is getting hotter. In order to cope with the damage caused by the summer heat, it is necessary to cultivate qi and blood.

Spleen and stomach are the source of qi and blood biochemistry. When the spleen and stomach are good, the qi and blood will naturally be good.

Long summer is the most effective solar term for nourishing the spleen and stomach and qi and blood. How to nourish spleen and stomach and qi and blood?

Beat the meridians Zusanli, Shangjuxu and Xiajuxu points.

As the saying goes, it is better to eat an old hen than to shoot Zusanli often. Clinical medicine has found that stimulating Zusanli can directly cause changes in the stomach, relax the convulsive stomach or tighten the relaxed stomach. It can be seen that Zusanli has the characteristics of two-way adjustment and emergency.

"Sijunzi Decoction": 9 grams of Ginseng (or Codonopsis pilosula), 9 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 9 grams of Poria, and 6 grams of roasted licorice.

In every season of long summer, boiled water can strengthen the spleen and replenish qi. If you use this soup to cook rice into porridge, it is more suitable for invigorating qi and strengthening spleen. Sijunzi decoction is a common medicinal material, but its proportion is excellent. Mainly ginseng, invigorating qi, strengthening spleen and nourishing stomach.
