He also said: How can you not eat or drink without taking medicine or refining liquid? If you are eager to meet people, you will not be idle, and you will have a rash. If it wasn't for food? If you live your whole life, you should pay attention to those who avoid it. The taste of food is suitable for illness and harmful to health. If it is suitable, it will benefit the body, and if it is harmful, it will become a disease and lead to danger. All cases are difficult to treat. This passage is concise and to the point: people's food and diet methods, if appropriate, are beneficial to health, otherwise they are harmful to health. People who cherish life should be good at keeping in good health through diet and regulating their bodies. Otherwise, it may cause diseases and affect the quality and quantity of life. Zhongjing also said: The human body is peaceful, but it needs to be nursed back to health. Don't take medicine rashly. The potential of medicine is helpful, making people feel uncomfortable and vulnerable to foreign invasion. Husband contains qi and the like, and there is no shortage of food to make a living. Food does not know whether there is success or failure. People don't know it every day, and fire and water are too close to each other. According to Sun Simiao, it was because of the influence of Zhongjing's language that he wrote the book "Therapeutic Recipe".

Zhang Zhongjing's diet regimen has the following basic principles and contents: (1) Eat food that is beneficial to life. (2) Avoid eating food that is harmful to your health.
