The story of Kong Qingde escorting Carlson
Carlson, the Guard of Kong Qingde, is a feature film adapted from real historical figures, which will tell the legendary story of General Kong Qingde, the founding lieutenant general. During his stay in War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Counsellor Carlson of the American Embassy, under the orders of President Roosevelt, went deep into the China War Zone to inspect the strategy and tactics of the Eighth Route Army, which provided an important reference for the United States to decide whether to aid China. Kong Qingde, then the battalion commander of the 769th Regiment of the Eighth Route Army129th Division, undertook the arduous task of escorting it safely to the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region. After numerous difficulties and obstacles along the way, this special international team finally completed its mission and successfully completed the safe handover of Carlson. It shows the brave and resourceful strategy and tactics of China soldiers, as well as the noble sentiment of putting others before themselves and understanding the righteousness.
