Ecological moral education is a new concept of moral education and a new educational activity. It means that educators guide the educated to enjoy nature and life better for the long-term interests of mankind, and consciously cultivate ecological protection consciousness, ideological consciousness and corresponding moral and civilized behavior habits of caring for the natural environment and ecosystem from the perspective of ecological morality of interdependence and harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

It requires the educated to establish a brand-new outlook on life, nature and survival and development, rationally adjust the relationship between man and nature, and consciously control man's blind behavior towards nature. Its essence is the process of transforming the ecological morality of harmonious development between man and nature into individual morality.

Ideological and political courses in colleges and universities should focus on strengthening the ecological ethics education for college students in four aspects: ecological values, ecological balance, ecological consumption and ecological responsibility, and also organize students to carry out colorful environmental protection practice activities, so that students can strengthen their awareness of environmental protection and develop good environmental protection behavior habits. With the rapid development of modern industry and the sharp increase of population, a series of environmental deterioration problems have appeared around the world, and the contradiction between man and nature has become more and more prominent.

Ecological ethics education:

The so-called eco-ethics education means that under the guidance of educational philosophy and eco-ethics, from the ethical concept of harmonious coexistence and interdependence between man and nature, educators cultivate the moral concept and sense of responsibility of respecting, caring for and protecting nature for the educated, so that the educated can form natural values and rights in line with eco-ethics.

So as to guide the educated to consciously develop ecological awareness and corresponding moral behavior habits for the long-term interests of mankind. By means of education, we can improve people's ecological moral consciousness and concept, cultivate people to consciously use ecological moral standards to regulate their behavior, "treat" nature well, actively coordinate the relationship between man and nature, protect the ecological environment, and make human beings and the ecological environment sustainable.
