Sakura Botanical Garden is the early starting area of Dayangwan Scenic Area, covering an area of 500 mu and nearly 50 standard football fields. The garden is a natural ecological garden with water as its blood and cherry blossoms in full bloom, which integrates the functions of rest, health preservation, tourism and sightseeing.

Dayangwan eco-tourism scenic spot is located in the east of Yancheng, adjacent to Nanyang International Airport. From the middle and late March of each year, all kinds of cherry blossoms in the scenic spot bloom in the morning, middle and late, full of vitality, and become more beautiful every year.

It is worth mentioning that the cherry blossom tunnel newly built this year has become a unique scenery in the scenic spot. Tourists stroll among them from time to time, enjoying flowers and taking photos. There are more than 50 species and nearly 60,000 cherry trees in the 6,000 mu area of the first phase of the scenic spot, which basically covers all kinds of cherry blossoms in China.

The cherry blossom garden has four areas. During the Cherry Blossom Festival, there are three highlights, namely, the flower sea of Cherry Blossom Island, the blooming cherry blossoms and the green cherry blossom traces, including the diffuse cherry blossom forest and the romantic cherry blossom dike. Through the collocation of flower varieties and the setting of scenic spots, visitors can appreciate the different flavors of cherry blossoms.

Yingzhou Flower Sea is one of the "Ten Scenes of Cherry Blossoms". Here, visitors can enjoy the tall and graceful Yoshino Dyeing Well, colorful Guanshan Sakura, Fengling Sakura and 2000 square meters of tulips.

Eight kinds of early cherry blossoms, such as Tokyo cherry blossoms and Fei Xia early cherry blossoms, and three kinds of late cherry blossoms, such as Pu Xian and Baimiao, are planted in the cherry blossom area. The lawn of nearly 15000 square meters creates "ten cherry blossoms" such as cherry blossom forest and romantic cherry blossom dike.

The green field cherry trace area includes cherry red, willow green, green field cherry trace, cherry garden spirit tree and so on in the "Ten Scenes of Cherry Blossom". There are 23 kinds of cherry blossoms planted in this area, and the flowering period is from early March to late April. Among them, the light green tulip cherry blossoms and the drooping cherry blossoms with waterfall flowers are of great ornamental value.
