Our grandmaster died young because he treated eye diseases when he was young, and the medicine seriously hurt his spleen and stomach, so even if he later became a great doctor, he could not adjust well.
As a generation of famous doctors, I will definitely try to treat my spleen and stomach, or recuperate my body. But even so, the damage to the spleen and stomach cannot be reversed, so the damage to the spleen and stomach is really a very troublesome problem.
When we talk about health preservation, the first important thing is to tell everyone to be kind to the spleen and stomach. Spleen and stomach are very special in the five internal organs. It is the mother of the five internal organs, and all organs need qi and blood transported by the spleen and stomach to nourish them.
Therefore, Chinese medicine says that as long as this person's spleen and stomach function is good, no matter what disease he has, he can always live.
The views of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine are quite different. Many intractable diseases of western medicine can be treated by Chinese medicine, such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, chronic liver disease and even tumors. Chinese medicine has cured cases.
Let's tell you a little story here. /kloc-More than 0/00 years ago, including Mr. Lu Xun and Mr. Hu Shi, whom we are very familiar with, and Wang Jingwei, the puppet government, they were all representatives who opposed Chinese medicine.
But in 1920, Hu Shi got diabetes, which also caused a very serious complication-nephritis. As the leader of the new culture movement, he contacted top western medicine, but he still couldn't be cured.
Hu Shi wrote "doomed" in his diary, almost waiting for death. At this time, his friend introduced him to Lv Zhongan, a famous doctor of Chinese medicine at that time. Hu Shi recovered after taking his medicine for three months.
Until Hu Shi died of a heart attack in 1962, his diabetes and nephritis never happened again.
Diabetes developed into nephritis, which can be said to be very serious, but in the end, the master of Chinese medicine cured the disease. In fact, there are many examples of chronic diseases such as hypertension and rheumatism being cured by Chinese medicine.
So there is no incurable disease in Chinese medicine? Of course, for example, the young man from his hometown in Huang Yuanyu, in order to test Huang Yuanyu's medical skills, fell on the ground, which led to his own death, including Huang Yuanyu's own spleen and stomach damage, and he never fully recovered all his life.
So what experience did Huang Yuanyu leave?
When the root of the disease lies in the spleen and stomach, and the spleen and stomach are damaged to a certain extent, the disease cannot be cured. No matter how light or heavy it looks, it can't be cured. Then the importance of spleen and stomach can be summarized in two sentences.
People are iron rice steel. No matter who wants to eat it, the spleen and stomach transport the nutrients in the rice to the blood. People with poor spleen and stomach have poor transport ability. It is enough for people to eat one catty of nutrition, but it is not enough for you to eat two jins, which is definitely unhealthy.
Under normal circumstances, in addition to sudden illness, we need to go to the hospital for infusion surgery, so chronic diseases are more dependent on taking medicine. No matter the nutrients in the diet, or the nutrients in traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, we must eat them and transport them to the whole body with the spleen and stomach to achieve the purpose of treating diseases.
So you see, when a qualified old Chinese doctor prescribes medicine, there are always medicines such as yam, poria cocos or ginseng in the prescription to regulate the spleen and stomach. Before, we spent a long time introducing the importance of spleen and stomach to everyone, because it is very special.
Huang Yuanyu used to take medicine to treat eye diseases when he was young, which was the basic condition for his illness and eventual death. However, since he began to study medicine, he has been conditioning his spleen and stomach without aggravating his illness, so he has been very calm. However, what caused it to break out, cause irreversible damage and eventually die?
Therefore, Huang Yuanyu was very scared and at a loss. Later, he became ill and never recovered. Chinese medicine has always attached importance to the influence of emotion on the body, so what is emotion? To put it bluntly, it is all kinds of emotions of people.
Among these seven emotions, worry and sadness are similar, and they can be combined into one, fear and shock are similar, or they can be combined into one, so there are only five kinds, and the seven emotions become five ambitions.
There is a word called seven emotions overwork, which means that when the changes of seven emotions and five desires are too drastic, it will cause damage to the viscera, and the five emotions correspond to the five internal organs.
When we were at school, there was a text called "Jin Fan Zhong Ju". It says that Jin Fan, who is in his fifties, is going crazy with joy. At this time, his butcher's father-in-law gave Jin Fan a big mouth and he woke up. So, a slap in the face can cure a disease?
Qi comes out of the spleen and stomach, first to the liver, then to the heart, then from the heart to the lungs, and finally to the kidney. In other words, qi itself is from the spleen and stomach to the liver to the heart to the lungs and then to the kidney.
As a result, after Jin Fan's sudden severe mood swings, the vitality of the lungs did not drop, but rushed up, blocking the pulse of the heart, which was called phlegm in Chinese medicine.
Jin Fan was crazy. Before he regained consciousness and woke up, he was slapped by his father-in-law who was usually afraid.
Then let's take a look again. Why do emotions affect organs? It is because emotion can affect the movement of qi and affect qi, which is equivalent to affecting the five internal organs.
When people are angry, their faces will turn red and their eyes will be bloodshot. We have an idiom called "rushing to the crown with anger". How did it come from?
At the end of the Qin Dynasty, two insurgents, represented by Xiang Yu and Liu Bang, rebelled against the brutal rule of the Qin Dynasty. In the later period, Xiang Yu felt Liu Bang's threat to him and set up a famous "Hongmen Banquet" in history to invite Liu Bang to dinner.
Halfway through the banquet, Xiang Zhuang almost fought in the name of sword. Seeing this, Liu Bang's general Fan Kuai was very angry and rushed in.
This is anger rising. Among the five internal organs, the liver governs the ascending of qi, but the vitality moves slowly and steadily in the body at a constant speed. Just like water vapor in nature, it needs a little evaporation to nourish everything. If steam rushes up with great power, it will not only nourish everything, but also turn into a tornado and cause damage.
Another example is sad lungs. Lin Daiyu in A Dream of Red Mansions is a typical representative. She is sad and depressed all day. In this way, her sadness will dissipate and her vitality will dissipate. What can she use to run her body? In the end, it came to an end.
Then, among the five internal organs, the lung consumes the most vitality, and the lung governs digestion and stomach qi. The stomach and lungs are responsible for spreading some primordial qi to the body surface to resist the invasion of cold and dampness. In case of unobstructed invasion into the human body, the lungs are also responsible for killing them all.
However, if long-term sadness causes the vitality to dissipate and the burden on the lungs to increase, then anxiety and sadness will hurt the lungs. Look at Lin Daiyu again. Finally, she died of severe lung disease and hemoptysis.
Daiyu felt sorry for herself as if nothing had happened.
In this way, we have a preliminary understanding of how emotions affect the five internal organs. Looking back at Huang Yuanyu, he got sick because of fear and hurt his kidney. Chinese medicine says that fear leads to anger. When you are frightened, your vitality will drop and stop rising, which will hurt kidney yang.
When vitality fails to rise, people's performance is pale and bloodless. This is because qi and blood can't go up, which is only the most primary symptom. If it is more serious, their hearts will beat faster. Why? When the whole body is deficient in qi and blood, the body will command the heart to jump a few times to meet the needs of blood supply and oxygen supply.
Furthermore, I can't sleep well after being scared, because my mind is damaged, so I can't sleep well. More severe shock will scare you to shit on the spot, because the kidney will shit, and the kidney is insufficient, so the urine will be out of control.
Teacher Guo once encountered a similar example. In the late 1990s, a child became dumb because of a cold and fever. The medical conditions are not very good, which is delayed.
After he became mute, the child's father took him everywhere to seek medical advice, but he did his best but did not get better. Until I came to the hospital where Teacher Guo once worked, I met Teacher Guo.
This method sounds really bad for children. Five-year-old children are scared when they don't want him, and his father is fierce. No matter what he thinks, it's no use crying. The result really left him and turned his head.
The child watched his father go further and further, and in desperation he actually called out his father. The father and son were crying on the wall, and the child's mute was cured.
The main reason for Huang Yuanyu's untimely death was the most important damage to the spleen, stomach and kidney, so even though his medical skills were high, he could not return to heaven. Some western doctors think that Chinese medicine is difficult to deal with.
In our daily life, we must pay attention to any symptoms. If it is not handled in time, it will be too late for further treatment. Why do we have to see Chinese medicine in vernacular? It is precisely because some situations that people will ignore in daily life will be mentioned in vernacular Chinese medicine, so we can learn how to protect our health by insisting on seeing Chinese medicine in vernacular.
