Efficacy:

Sedate and soothe the nerves, promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and induce diuresis and stranguria.

Application:

1, used for mental anxiety, palpitation and insomnia and convulsion epilepsy. The former is compatible with Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, Caulis Polygoni Multiflori and Cinnabaris. The latter is often used with wind-calming and spasmodic drugs such as cinnabar and scorpion.

2, used for blood stasis amenorrhea, abdominal pain, etc. It is often used with other drugs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. For example, Hupo Powder is combined with Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Curcumae and Radix Paeoniae Alba to treat blood stasis and qi stagnation, and menstrual disorder.

3, used for bloody stranguria, hot stranguria, and unfavorable urination. Used alone or in combination with cogongrass rhizome, Lygodium japonicum and Akebia stem.
