Xiangshan is located in the east of Xiamen, southeast of Xiang 'an District, at the southern foot of Hung-chien Mountain, with the main peak at an altitude of176m. The scenic spot is bounded by Jiuxi in the west, Shuiqiong Line in the north, Liushui Line in the south, Hung-chien Mountain Road in the east, and Xiangshan Rock Temple as the center, radiating the surrounding Lutang Folk Culture Village and many scenic spots. The natural landscape is integrated with rich human landscape, mainly including ancient temples, ancient buildings, ancient trees, ancient operas, beautiful water and strange stones. Gu Song Forest Group in Lutang Village has a history of nearly 600 years. It is the only ancient pine forest in southern Fujian, connected with the ancient banyan trees, forming a rare subtropical natural ecological community landscape.
History: Xiangshan Rock Temple, Xiangshan Academy, ancient Ming and Qing residential villages built in 1 127, and the only private folk opera art school founded by Li Yuan's family in Fujian Province have formed a unique folk cultural landscape in Xiangshan. Xiangshan Rock Temple on the mountain was built in the Southern Song Dynasty. Is the founder of Shimizu. At the peak, there are hundreds of monks and nuns. 1, architectural landscape:
Xiangshan Rock Scenic Area covers an area of 3 square kilometers, with 16 peaks, 8 mountain and lake basins and 73 historic sites. The most famous is the natural landscape of "Three Lions, Six Tigers and Seven Kirin". There are Huiguo Wengong Temple, Xianquan, Luxiang Stone, Trail, Xiang 'an House, Qianxiang Stone, Xiangyue Lake, Tianxiang Lake, Nanshan Gate, Beishanmen Gate, Wangjinmen Platform, Promenade, Lianxiangchi, Loyalty Stone and so on.
From Xiang 'an District Government to the southeast, it takes about 4 or 5 kilometers to reach Xiangshan. Along the mountain road, the oncoming "Returning Wengong Temple" is the place where Zhu gave lectures in the past, which enshrines Zhu's statue and is a holy place for local students to worship. Next to Huiguo Wengong Temple is the magnificent "Xiangshan Rock" Hall, where the ancestors with dark face and clear water are enshrined, and the incense is very strong. According to Mr. Zhang Shenbao, director of Xiangshan Scenic Area Management Committee, who has been affiliated to Xiangshan since 1968, this temple was built in 1 127, and now it is a holy place for local, surrounding and Jinmen believers to worship. Every year from the first day of the first month to the sixth day of the first month, temple fairs are held here. The plaque and stone carvings in the main hall are very old, and the walls on both sides leading to the inner hall are lifelike stone carvings, each with allusions, such as Jiang Taigong fishing. The wall of the inner hall is painted with a vivid story of "The List of Gods", which is in harmony with the hall carved with beams and painted buildings.
Out of the temple gate, turn right, and behind you is Millennium Spring, with the word "Xianquan" conspicuously engraved on the edge of the pool. It is said that this is for the daily drinking of monks. Good men and women who come here to worship like to take some back, thinking that this can drive away evil spirits and diseases and prolong life. Moreover, the tea brewed with Xianquan is particularly fragrant.
Go straight along the mountain road in front of Xiangshan Rock Museum, and you can see a huge stone in the distance, which looks like a lion's head. This is Xiangshan Lion Ball Stone, also known as Ghost Head Stone, weighing about 200 tons. Legend has it that in ancient times, a kid often wandered around Xiangshan Rock, teasing the golden lion guarding the rock and doing evil. Grandfather Shimizu advised him not to listen, so he ordered the town to be here with a piece of paper. The child became a stone, which is now the lion ball stone. Climbing on its back, I found that its front end turned out to be a "scene". The cracked stone crevice is slightly inclined, and only one person can be hidden. It's amazing that the stone wall looks as smooth as a sharp knife. Not far behind the lion ball stone, there is a "platform" paved with huge stones. The low hills give a very wide view. Dark green Woods, light green fields and glittering and translucent jade reservoirs crisscross. The southeast is the sea, and the coastline of Kinmen emerges at the end of the horizon.
Plank road: There is a 5-kilometer-long slow-moving system in the mountains around Xiangshan, which mainly adopts the way of wooden plank road to integrate the natural and human landscape of Xiangshan and spread the beautiful scenery of "boudoir" hidden for many years.
Flower viewing: Flower viewing is available all year round. Every year, before the end of 1, there are large areas of rape blossoms, and large areas of sunflowers begin to bloom in September.

There are cherry blossoms and peach blossoms on both sides of the Xiangshan trail for a few kilometers, and they will also bloom one after another.
Sunflower:

Such a large area of concentrated bloom has become the most popular scenic spot in Xiangshan Scenic Area, attracting many tourists to enjoy flowers on the mountain every day. Rape flower:
Xiang' an Xiangshan 50 acres of rape flowers are picturesque, and the wind blows through the layers of flowers plated with Phnom Penh by the warm winter sun. Trembling and undulating, the waves of flowers are sparkling. With the mountain forest as the background, the breeze blows, and the rape blossoms sway gently with the wind, just like a huge scroll painting. Festivals: The temple fair held in Xiangshan on the sixth day of the first lunar month every year is very lively, with unique folk art performances, such as Taiwanese opera, puppet show, car encouragement and chest dance.
