Discipline characteristics:

The core concept of TCM rehabilitation is to preserve and enhance the overall vitality of the human body under the guidance of the holistic view of body and mind, and to achieve the goal of overcoming functional obstacles through the improvement of self-organized rehabilitation ability. The vitality of the human body is the foundation, and there are various functions, such as sports function, psychological function, daily life activity ability and so on. All of them are the external manifestations of human vitality, which fully embodies the idea of "using Chinese body and western things". The "vitality view" of traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation and the "function view" of western medicine rehabilitation have their own emphasis and complement each other. The ultimate goal is to protect life and improve the quality of life.

The characteristics of this rehabilitation major are: emphasis on foundation, wide caliber and distinctive features. Strengthen the foundation of modern rehabilitation medicine and therapeutics and highlight the traditional rehabilitation characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. Improve the training mode of rehabilitation talents under the background of traditional Chinese medicine colleges, integrate different rehabilitation concepts of Chinese and western medicine with the concept of "taking Chinese as the body and western as the use", clarify the core concept of TCM rehabilitation, refine and integrate the essence of TCM, absorb advanced western concepts and technologies, and improve the rehabilitation system of integrated Chinese and western medicine with the ultimate goal of improving the overall rehabilitation effect.

The construction objectives of this idea can be summarized as "123" and "1". Establish a rehabilitation medical system with Chinese culture as the core, consolidate the foundation of modern rehabilitation medicine, and highlight the rehabilitation characteristics of Chinese medicine; 2. Establish two directions: TCM rehabilitation and western medicine rehabilitation. The concept that TCM rehabilitation focuses on vitality is reflected in the peace and nature of life itself; The rehabilitation of western medicine focuses on the concept of function, which is reflected in the advanced technology. 3. Create three characteristics, including: high-tech rehabilitation project, art therapy, psychosomatic rehabilitation and traditional exercise, and self-rehabilitation.

Put forward the holistic rehabilitation concept of "psychosomatic rehabilitation", devote to the development of characteristic rehabilitation medicine combining traditional Chinese and western medicine, and advocate the guidance of holistic dialectical thinking of Chinese medicine. In August 2005, the Music Therapy Professional Committee of Guangdong Traditional Chinese Medicine Association was established, which indicated that the embryonic form of psychosomatic rehabilitation had appeared. During the three years after the Wenchuan earthquake (2008-20 1 1), he organized a special aid project for sound therapy and went to Wenchuan and Beichuan in Sichuan many times. Help Wenchuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yingxiu Hospital and related units to establish rehabilitation bases, exert influence at home and abroad, hold national and provincial continuing education project "China Traditional Music Therapy Training Course", establish psychosomatic rehabilitation-music therapy training bases in Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and Xinghai Conservatory of Music, and carry out related training work. The main members were awarded the title of advanced volunteers for earthquake relief by Chinese Medicine Association in 2008, advanced workers by China Music Therapy Association in 2009 and advanced cadres by Guangdong Chinese Medicine Association on 20 10. Open up the whole field of psychosomatic rehabilitation, and promote the formation of a rehabilitation system with China characteristics.

Teaching characteristics

Our school has been vigorously promoting the development of rehabilitation medicine research. 1998 successfully established the first undergraduate specialty of TCM health care and rehabilitation, which mainly undertakes the teaching of undergraduate specialty of TCM health care and rehabilitation. In 2000, the major was changed to acupuncture and massage (five-year program), and the rehabilitation direction of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine was differentiated in the later stage, and the rehabilitation medicine course of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine was offered to students at all levels, including undergraduate and seven-year programs of traditional Chinese medicine. In 2004, he successfully applied for the undergraduate major of rehabilitation therapy, and in 2005, he entered the four-year Bachelor of Science program, which was very popular. At present, seven grades have been enrolled, the first three students have graduated, and the employment situation is good.

After thirteen years of development, a team of professional teachers with reasonable structure has been formed, and a solid teaching cooperative relationship has been established with colleagues in the field of rehabilitation medicine, such as the Second Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Southern Hospital, and Guangzhou Industrial Injury Rehabilitation Hospital.

Important teaching and clinical bases include the Rehabilitation Department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangdong Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangdong Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (Nanhai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine), Nanhai Women and Children Hospital, etc. Under the guidance of the core concept of Chinese medicine rehabilitation, modern rehabilitation medicine theory and technical means are introduced, and the best evaluation and treatment methods of Chinese and Western medicine rehabilitation are concentrated to serve the majority of patients and become the main clinical research base of Chinese and Western medicine rehabilitation.

1. On the basis of attaching importance to modern rehabilitation medicine, highlight the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and build a rehabilitation brand with China characteristics.

Strengthen the construction of core courses and main courses, and ensure the framework of knowledge and ability. Considering the actual situation of rehabilitation clinics and the development direction of rehabilitation characteristics of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the future, we should focus on strengthening basic courses of modern medicine and rehabilitation medicine. The class hours ratio of basic courses of traditional Chinese medicine is 2: 1, and that of courses of traditional Chinese medicine and modern rehabilitation is about 1: 1.2. ..

1. 1, ensure the basic teaching foundation of modern rehabilitation PT and OT, improve the theoretical teaching and experimental teaching system, and connect with international common practices. Including basic courses of modern medicine such as anatomy, physiology and pathology, as well as basic courses of rehabilitation specialty such as kinematics, neurology and orthopedics. Improve the software and hardware systems of PT (including physiotherapy) and OT (including speech therapy and rehabilitation engineering) laboratories.

1.2, highlighting the characteristics of TCM rehabilitation and forming the concept of China characteristics.

(1) Clarify the core concept of TCM rehabilitation, pay more attention to the concept of expressing "function" besides vitality, connect eastern and western cultures, strengthen the foundation and core technology of TCM rehabilitation, highlight characteristics, and extract the essence of promoting vitality from acupuncture, massage, Chinese dietotherapy, Chinese medicine therapy, China traditional fitness, massage acrobatics and medical qigong.

⑵ China of modern rehabilitation means.

In acupuncture therapy, massage therapy is combined with Tai Ji Chuan and Yijinjing for training and applied to practice. Further cooperation with the rhythmic movement of China's music can improve the connotation and quality of the technique. In OT therapy, work and recreation therapy are integrated into China culture, such as piano, chess, calligraphy, painting and gardening. In group training, psychological training should be combined with the concept of "harmony is the most important" in China culture, so as to promote localization, enhance vitality and improve form and spirit. Make our PT and OT teaching gradually form a teaching and practice system with TCM rehabilitation as the core concept.

The conceptual roadmap is shown in.

Teaching resources:

Hardware system: In addition to the multimedia classroom with unified teaching, it also has a complete rehabilitation medical laboratory and basic laboratory of acupuncture and massage, covering an area of 1000 square meters, with more than 5 million yuan of equipment, among which rehabilitation medical equipment includes weight-loss training treadmill, balance detection training instrument, speech cognitive instrument and so on. Has a wealth of books and electronic reading facilities.

Software system: the construction of teaching staff

(1) Based on the teachers in schools and teaching and research sections, and relying on affiliated hospitals, the teaching team of rehabilitation education teachers in this system will be built to form a fully functional rehabilitation teaching system.

The relevant teaching and research sections of the school have completed public courses and basic medical courses, and other teaching and research sections of the college have completed the teaching of acupuncture and tuina. The Rehabilitation Teaching and Research Section is responsible for organizing the teaching of specialized courses. Professional course teaching attaches importance to the development of rehabilitation teaching network of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine based on two directly affiliated hospitals and two non-directly affiliated hospitals. The provincial sports injury rehabilitation major of the First Affiliated Hospital focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation and sports injury rehabilitation. Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Encephalopathy Center, Second Affiliated Hospital of Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, focusing on nervous system rehabilitation. The Department of Acupuncture and Rehabilitation of Guangdong Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine focuses on the rehabilitation of nervous system. Nanhai Women and Children's Hospital affiliated to Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine focuses on the rehabilitation of common diseases of children and women.

Teaching and learning learn from each other. In the process of classroom, laboratory and clinical probation teaching, it promotes the practicality of course teaching and improves teachers' clinical consciousness. Clinical teachers also constantly improve the theoretical teaching level, promote the close contact between schools and hospitals, and build a solid practical course teaching network to achieve the purpose of mutual promotion between teaching and clinic. In 2009, a multi-level rehabilitation education system was formed through the national doctor's degree authorization point of TCM rehabilitation. At the same time, the construction of national TCM rehabilitation teaching materials has been improved.

⑵ Pay attention to introducing and drawing lessons from modern rehabilitation teaching in other hospitals.

In addition to teaching in this system, modern rehabilitation medical education focuses on introducing the rehabilitation departments of the Second and Third Affiliated Hospitals of Sun Yat-sen University, the rehabilitation department of Overseas Chinese Hospital affiliated to Jinan University Medical College and the rehabilitation department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical College as the main modern rehabilitation practice hospitals, and using the resource network of Guangdong Rehabilitation Medical Association to invite well-known rehabilitation experts to teach. In this way, on the introduction of some external key courses, we will strengthen the study and exchange of western medicine rehabilitation, improve teaching methods, and ensure the students' modern rehabilitation theory and skill foundation.
