Allopurinol tablets are drugs that inhibit the synthesis of uric acid. Long-term use of allopurinol tablets may lead to hepatic and renal insufficiency and cytopenia. Therefore, when taking allopurinol, we should pay attention to adding liver-protecting drugs and monitoring liver and kidney function, and generally choose to take it in the acute stage. Patients take allopurinol no more than 300 mg every day, and the probability of side effects is very small, so they can take it for a long time.
2. Drinking alcohol, chlorthiazone, itaconic acid, furosemide, metolazone, pyrazinamide or thiazide diuretics can all increase the serum uric acid content. When controlling gout and hyperuricemia, the dosage of allopurinol tablets should be adjusted. For patients with hypertension or renal insufficiency, renal failure and allergy have been reported when allopurinol tablets are used together with thiazide diuretics.
