How to recover from a serious illness
Zhang lei

Seriously ill, seeking medical treatment? Can medical treatment really cure a serious illness? Why are seriously ill patients difficult to recover for a long time? What is the reason behind it?

Unfortunately, I was seriously ill. How can we recover smoothly? Here, I would like to put forward some views, hoping to help every seriously ill patient.

One, not afraid of death.

I'm afraid it's negative emotions. Fear leads to fear, and fear into the kidney will hurt the kidney. Kidney is congenital, and kidney injury is bound to be difficult to recover. So, don't be afraid of death. In fact, the more people are afraid of death, the faster they die. You didn't see those people who suddenly found cancer in physical examination. Because of fear and pessimism, they looked haggard and nervous in a few days and left in a month or two. Why not die of disease, but of fear? Because fear will make the illness worse and make people die faster.

What shall we do? No matter what kind of serious illness I have, no matter whether it is the so-called terminal disease in western medicine, I will believe that I can recover from this disease. Moreover, not only can you raise it well, but your body can be exceptionally healthy, and then you can live longer. Our bodies are the cleverest and have instinctive healing power, and self-confidence is the key to activate this instinctive healing power.

Why does self-confidence play such a big role? My understanding is that confidence comes from sincerity. Sincerity is the right heart, and the heart is regular and healthy. I regard sincerity as the key to recovery from a serious illness, which is the first step. Note that the first step in recovering from a serious illness is not to rely on medication, but to believe in yourself. If you lose confidence, even the best medical care will not help.

Patients should have confidence in their recovery. This self-confidence includes two aspects: first, they are in a peaceful state of mind, not fidgety or pessimistic; The second is to believe that you can recover, that you really believe, that you have no doubt in your bones. This belief and belief are almost the same. We just need to know that confidence is so powerful that it can dominate life and death.

I have no doubt about the great role of confidence. What I doubt is whether the patient can have such confidence!

Second, keep healthy actively.

I have three opinions about health preservation, which are explained in detail below.

First, the so-called health preservation is to nourish vitality.

Life is a group of vitality, and the reason why life is endless is because vitality is still sufficient. Therefore, health preservation is to nourish vitality. Deficiency of vitality is the fundamental pathogenesis of many chronic diseases. To prevent serious diseases, we can't rely on health care products and nutrients, nor can we rely on drug treatment, let alone physical examination to seek comfort. We can only stop it from keeping fit.

If you can be full of vigor and vitality, people will have strong vitality and strong vitality, and it is not easy to get sick. If the vitality is insufficient, it will be invincible, and it is easy to get sick often, even seriously ill. Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes treating diseases and seeking roots, which is vitality.

Second, the so-called health preservation aims to make one's life and health last longer.

How to maintain health? My suggestion is to learn Chinese medicine and keep in good health with the concept of Chinese medicine. Because Chinese medicine contains the way of heaven and earth, it conforms to the law of human life. Keeping in good health with the concept of traditional Chinese medicine can not only keep healthy, but also make the body and mind harmonious.

Everyone wants to live healthier and longer. What shall we do? Give up health and nothing else. Medical care is not for the elderly. For people of any age, health care should start now, starting today.

Third, the regimen is based on Neijing.

How to maintain health? In Neijing, it is clearly stated that "yin and yang should be used as the method, and the number of tricks should be used, and the diet should be moderate, and the daily life should be regular, so don't rush into it". Only in this way can you make "harmony between form and spirit, and die at the age of 100".

How can we maintain a longer life? We should strive to maintain the endless vitality of heaven and earth. If you are in harmony with heaven and earth, you will be born, and if you are contrary, you will be ill. The so-called health preservation means that people try to conform to the laws of heaven and earth. So, is there any monograph in the world that guides us to keep healthy correctly? Yes, Huangdi Neijing is.

Now, some people think that as long as modern science and technology develop, we can find the elixir of life. In my opinion, there is no elixir. If you want to live a long life, you must rely on Neijing. Neijing is a classic of keeping in good health, which is most suitable for China people's physique and qi and blood.

My understanding is: health needs to be sought from the inside, and relying on drugs or medical care will only be a matter of seeking fish from the edge of the wood.

If the patient has no confidence in his recovery and refuses to cooperate with the doctor's advice, even if Hua Tuo is reincarnated, there is no cure. Cao Cao suffered a bitter cold and died. Obviously, Hua Tuo, a famous doctor, is with him. No matter how tall a doctor is, he will be at a loss if he encounters an uncooperative patient. A doctor is just an assistant in the rehabilitation of a disease. Patients should know that the ultimate strength to help them recover depends entirely on the mentality and behavior of seeking medical treatment.

Fourth, health needs self-discipline, and self-disciplined benevolence can be healthier.

For people who are not sick, stay away from diseases and hospitals, and everything depends on their own health. For people who are already sick, in order to recover as soon as possible, they also need health care. In my opinion, keeping healthy requires self-discipline, and only self-disciplined people can really get healthy.

In clinical work, I often tell patients that they must take the initiative to maintain their health, including light diet, not staying up late, exercising more, keeping a happy mood, quitting smoking and limiting alcohol, and so on. Because life and health are our most important things, if we don't pay attention to it ourselves, no one will! Being sick is very painful, so it is best to prevent it in advance. Not getting sick is far better than seeing a doctor after getting sick. So be self-disciplined, instead of tying your most expensive health and life to the doctor's belt.

I often say that it is better to get it from the outside than from the inside. You are the best doctor. Why? Because you work hard to keep fit, you just go to see a doctor. So: self-discipline is the best doctor; Health is your own, and only self-discipline can keep you healthy.

Third, medical care is just help.

Our general idea is that if you are seriously ill, you have to rely on a doctor. But I don't know, this idea is wrong. Why do you say that?

On the one hand, doctors can't cure all diseases, especially the so-called "terminal diseases".

The role of medical treatment in the face of diseases (especially serious diseases) is really small, so it doesn't matter if it is too small to be used. Of course, the role of medical care is still there. For example, when the pain is unbearable, it can help relieve the pain, that's all.

On the other hand, doctors do not solve the cause and effect of bad diseases.

The root of all diseases is inseparable from causality. Simply put, the wrong cause produces the sick fruit. If the wrong cause cannot be removed, the fruit of the disease will never take root.

What is the cause of the mistake? Overeating, improper diet, staying up late, sedentary, overworked, resentment, anger, worry, sadness, fear and other negative emotions will lead to the result of the disease. What do we do? Medical treatment only works hard on fruits, which is of little significance because it has not been removed. Because it is a book, the fruit is just a mark.

Clinically, seriously ill patients often ask me, is there any other way? I replied: Yes. In fact, medical treatment is not the only way to treat diseases, because medical treatment can't cure the mind, change resentment, anger and troubles, and eliminate the causes of diseases. The reason why the disease is cured is that medical treatment only helps fate, and it is our heart that really cures the disease. Treating the heart is the key to recovery. If you can keep a correct attitude, feel at ease and be calm, all diseases can heal themselves.

As the saying goes, the disease needs three treatments, and the care needs seven. How to understand it? My point is that although there is a disease to be treated, treatment is by no means the key to recovery. In fact, many chronic diseases are incurable, so don't take medical care so seriously. In fact, the role of medical care is nothing more than: sometimes it is to cure diseases; Often help; Always comforting.

Fourth, keep a calm heart and try to keep your spirit inside.

Being sick is not terrible. What is terrible is anxiety, tension, despair and pessimism because of illness. Therefore, the more serious the illness, the more you should keep a calm heart and stay away from negative emotions such as resentment, anger and trouble.

My suggestions are: first, from today on, I decided not to disturb my sick body, not to think about how I got sick, not to care about its quality, and just to be an innocent person.

Second, learn the spirit of Neijing: be indifferent and open-minded, and keep the spirit. Only in this way can the true qi follow and the disease go away.

Third, don't think about what you have lost during your illness, just relax and accept your illness frankly. At the same time, thank you for your illness, let your heart calm down from busyness, and turn from external seeking to internal seeking.

Third, look down on life and death. How to look down? My suggestion is that we might as well think according to these two aspects: on the one hand, life and death are both life, life is a formal state of life, and death is a formless state of life. On the other hand, life is death, which is a natural law, and no one is an exception.

summary

To sum up, how to recover from a serious illness? To sum up, the two core points are: starting from the right heart and paying attention to health.

First, the heart is the foundation, and righteousness is the foundation. As a standard, treating a disease means treating the symptoms.

Second, the heart is inside, so we should find it from the inside. Hard work, health preservation and spiritual cultivation are all internal needs;

Thirdly, there is no contradiction between righteousness and medicine, which should be based on righteousness and supplemented by medicine. If you are completely dependent on medical care, you are asking for it from the outside world. If the mind has lost its mindfulness, no matter how clever the medical treatment is, it will only cure the symptoms, not the root cause. Because although sick, but this is simply insane.

Fourth, health is the most important. The so-called health preservation is to correct qi, "hide the righteousness inside, and the evil can't be done", which can restore yourself; It is better to seek medical treatment than to seek for yourself. Righteousness is the foundation, and evil is the standard; People-oriented and disease-oriented. Treatment is to seek the standard, and nourishment is to seek the foundation. Mainly based on this, supplemented by standards.

Supplement: It is suggested that all patients with severe illness should read the book Reflections on Cultural Medicine by Mr. Luo Jiangxi, and realize the great role of sincerity, integrity and health preservation in the rehabilitation of severe illness.
