The next eight presidents were all foreign nurses. It was not until 1928 that the nurse from China became the president and Shi was the director-general (secretary-general). The meeting place was moved to Wuhan, Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing and other places. The main task of this period is to formulate the standards for running a nursing school, which requires that running a school must go through social registration, be responsible for the examination of nurses, and issue registration certificates to those who pass the examination, so as to seek the welfare and career development of members.
1920 1 publishes the first professional journal of nursing in China, Nurses Quarterly (bilingual), which reports the nursing work and education in hospitals, nursing techniques in various specialties and conference news. 1923 10 changed its name to China Nurses Quarterly Report. From 1920 to 1949, 25 volumes (4 issues per volume) were published. During this period, the Society also translated and published the Syllabus and nursing teaching materials of various subjects.
