Qian Songhu wrote sixteen frames of "Yanyuan Map", and this book is paid.
Since then, it has been called "Sixteen Scenery of Yanyuan", but the poetry collection does not specifically talk about the landscape content.
According to the records of Zhang Fengyu in the Qing Dynasty, there are 14 scenic spots mentioned in the Picture of a Garden of Flowers in a Bottle, namely, Yangu, Wuzhitang, Shijing, Shige, Tianhuichuan, Qiuju, Dongrong's former residence, Yinshengyan, Sanchan Juanfang, Tongxiantang, Qiaoyunqiao, Dream Waigong, Green Gallery and Julie's kitchen.
According to the "Chang Zhi Draft" edited by Gu Dechang in the Qing Dynasty, there are Shiva Pavilion, Ten Wishes Building, Poetry and Beauty Building in Yan Garden. In addition to repeating the comparison between this statement and Zhang Fengyu, adding a Shiva Pavilion and a Ten Wishes Building will make it sixteen scenic spots.
Next to Yangu is Wuzhitang. Wuzhitang is a place where former garden owners welcome relatives and friends. There is a rockery in front of the main hall, named "Rock Valley", which is surrounded by mountains and forests and has a unique and charming stone scene. On the east wall of the rockery, there is a "poetic scene" composed of cloisters and bamboo, which is fascinating and interesting.
From this, you can enter the "Poetry Pavilion" in the north along the corridor, go out of the pavilion and go down the mountain, and you can go to the boat near the flood and drought, which is called "returning to the boat in the sky". Scenery change and ingenious combination make the landscape with "rock valley" as the main body in this area tortuous and changeable, and new ideas abound, which is excellent.
The Yangu West Corridor twists and turns, running through the north and south of the park along the west courtyard wall, and reaching Wuzhitang. In the middle of the corridor, there is a semi-pavilion called "Autumn". People are in the middle of the corridor, and the landscape is like a continuous picture scroll, which is beautiful.
From the back of Wuzhitang to the back door of the garden is the third district, with "Dongrong Old Residence" in the west and "Yixiwage" and "Ten Wishes Building" in the east, which are the daily living places of the garden owners.
From Beishan to steep road, planting trees and pruning bamboo at the top of the mountain seems to be innate, so there is the "five-needle pine" in the Central Plains. Although it is not high enough, its branches are curved and add interest. Climbing eastward along the mountain is the highest point of Yan Valley, and it is called "Zhaoshengyan", just like being in the sword gate of Yushan, which is the climax of winning a visit.
Poetry appreciation pavilion is a place where garden owners and literati meet. The Poetry Appreciation Pavilion once listed the poems of celebrities such as Ruan Yuan, Guo Luge and Qian Yong in Qing Dynasty, which added a lot of color to the garden.
There are couplets written by Jiang Yinpei's poems collected by Qing people in the garden:
Qiu Helou confronted;
Yan Gu's sword is half bent.
In the study, Jiang Yinpei wrote a couplet:
Those who are familiar with Li Sao can be called celebrities;
If you dabble in biography, you can't be an alcoholic Confucian.
Menghua Hall, located in the east of Sanjianfang, is a two-story building. Climbing the small building overlooks the scenery of Yushan.
Changshu is near Shan Ye Wood, and Yanyuan is in a secluded alley with high walls nearby. Its method of borrowing scenery to avoid mountains is unique. That is, in the garden, build a pavilion with the same height as the poetry pavilion, so that it can carry things on its back and borrow Yushan from the west. It climbed onto the railing overlooking, and the infinite scenery of Yushan Mountain was accommodated, which turned the limited space into infinite space. Bowing down to have a bird's eye view, the valley bends in deep water and the Qingxi meanders, echoing Yushan from a distance.
1847, Yanyuan was purchased by Gui Zijin, a local magistrate. Later, the Yan Garden belonged to the Chiang family, and Hong Kui, the great-grandson of Uncle Jiang Yuan, got it again. The phrase "Garden meets an old friend" in his My Good Poem Copy refers to Yan Garden.
By the end of the Qing Dynasty, Yanyuan was bought by Zhang Hong, the former foreign affairs department of Guangxu, on 1908, so it was also called Bird, and Zhang Hong named himself "Yangu Old Man". After Zhang Hong got the Yanyuan Garden, he planted trees and bamboos at the top of Beishan Mountain, as if he were born with it.
Salt source is rich in flowers and trees. In addition to Pinus bungeana and Magnolia grandiflora, there are osmanthus trees, magnolia flowers, wisteria, bamboo shoots, phoenix trees and willow trees in the park, and lotus flowers are also planted in the pool. There are many kinds of peony in the late Qing Dynasty.
Zhang Hong, an old man from Yangu, recorded poems such as Peony Planting in Yanyuan Garden, Peony bloom in Yanyuan Garden, and Li Jingyu Rhyme in Poems of Manchu Dynasty.
In the Qing Dynasty, a local poet once wrote a poem "Xie Zhang Picks Wei Zi", which deliberately described the peony treasures such as "Wei Zi" planted in the Yanyuan Garden. It can be seen that famous flowers and different trees also won this garden.
