After the founding of New China, he served as a member of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and deputy director of Shanghai Literature and History Research Institute.
Mr. Jiang is the first person who advocated scientific meditation in China. In his early years, he was sickly and suffered from tuberculosis and cough, which was cured by self-study qigong. Therefore, he devoted himself to studying breathing meditation to keep healthy and keep fit. 19 14 years, based on his own personal experience, he wrote "The Method of Sit-in as a Son", which was first serialized in a student magazine and compiled into a book because of its popularity. This book is easy to understand and is the first to explain traditional exercises with modern science. After publication, it quickly sold well all over the country and Southeast Asian countries, and it was reprinted more than 30 times in just a few years, which greatly promoted the promotion of health culture. Self-study by the book has benefited countless people, especially intellectuals. In the early 1950s, he opened the first Qigong clinic in China, which changed the development of traditional health preserving methods in China.
