What's so interesting about swinging home?
Xiangjiadang, also known as Xiangjiahu and Xianghu, is located in the south wing of the Yangtze River Delta, the hinterland of the "Golden Triangle" of Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou, Qixing Town in the northeast of Jiaxing City, 7 kilometers away from the urban area. 1997 has been listed as a provincial tourist resort by the people's government of Zhejiang Province.

It has flat terrain, vast waters, dense rivers, rice fields and wetlands. There are wide and narrow rivers shuttling between towns, which are both elegant and graceful in Jiangnan water town and naive and simple in rural areas. The morning mist is long and the sunset is late. After the ebb and flow of water day after day, the quiet and vast Xianghu Lake sits and watches the passage of time, waiting for the dynasty change on the shore.

Volume 12 of the Records of Jiaxing County in Guangxu of Qing Dynasty records that "Xiangjia Lake is nine miles northeast of the county seat, and A Xiang once lived on the shore of the lake, hence the name." Zhu Yizun in the Qing Dynasty mentioned in his Poem of Living in Idleness that Huaiyue built Liu Zhuang near Xianghu Lake, also known as Huaijiating, during the period from orthodox to Tianshun in the Ming Dynasty.

So you can imagine the prosperity of swinging home in those days. In ancient times, this place with flowers and clear lakes often attracted literati to recite poems and paint here, and they lingered. "Flowers are like alcohol, and the east wind sweeps dust everywhere." It is one of the most appropriate metaphors for the pleasant scenery of Xianghu Lake by the poet Huaiyue.
