How to use fasting therapy correctly
Recently, I made preparations for fasting and collected some relevant information.

Mr. Guo Jinshui, a researcher in Taiwan Province Province, made a long-term and in-depth study of fasting therapy abroad and compiled a book "Fasting". He summarized the precautions and indications of this therapy:

1. What disease is it effective for?

According to the experimental reports of experts from Europe, America and Japan, the following diseases are easy to cure:

Hyperacidity, chronic gastroenteritis, gastric bradycardia, bloating, gastroptosis, gastric ulcer, gastric cancer, duodenal ulcer, rectal diseases, intestinal tuberculosis, enteritis, appendicitis, dyspepsia, malnutrition, constipation, dysentery, peritonitis, liver disease, gallstones, jaundice.

Heart disease, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, diabetes, gout, beriberi, obesity, anemia, arthritis, Brazilian disease, nephropathy, cystitis.

Neurasthenia, sleep changes, hysteria, headache, epilepsy, intermittent neuralgia.

Rhinitis, pyorrhea, tonsillitis.

Tuberculosis, pleurisy, pharyngolaryngitis, tracheitis, asthma, bone rot, lymphoid tuberculosis.

Skin diseases, hemorrhoids, syphilis, gonorrhea, gynecological diseases, malaria.

Some of the above diseases can be cured by short-term fasting once every two weeks, some need to be repeated three or four times, and some even need long-term fasting for 30 to 50 days. This may be related to the severity of the disease and the difference in physical fitness.

2. Fasting is an ineffective and unstoppable disease.

(1) Diseases that cannot be cured by fasting:

Complete blindness: complete deafness; Diabetes mellitus with continuous insulin injection for more than five years: patients with kidney disease and hypertension for more than ten years; The intensity of heart valve lesions; The second and third stages of pulmonary gangrene; Finally, cancer.

(2) Diseases that cannot be fasted:

Extremely weak second and third stage lungs; Intestinal bleeding often leads to melena; Mental patients who need imprisonment: adults who are underweight and give birth to 33 kilograms; Gastric ulcer bleeding; Open tuberculosis: the weak who can't walk; Appendicitis requiring surgery; Cancer; A pregnant woman.

3. Fasting season

The best fasting season is autumn, followed by spring and winter, and summer seems more uncomfortable. But students and teachers often use summer fasting, so there are actually many experiments during this period.

4. Precautions before fasting

People with cavities should be treated before fasting. Because of the pain of tooth decay during fasting, it is not convenient to see a dentist, and experience shows that fasting is ineffective for tooth decay.

Secondly, abdominal parasites such as roundworms, duodenal worms and tapeworms should be expelled. They stay in the intestine. Because they can't get nutrition when fasting, they often climb back into the esophagus and enter the mouth, so they should drink an appropriate amount of insect repellent first.

Before entering the formal fasting, you should start to eat less. People who are used to the ration of three meals a day will be uncomfortable, react violently and suffer greatly if they rush to fast. Therefore, it is advisable to gradually reduce their food intake first.

5. Fasting rules

(1) Drink 540CC to 900CC of raw water every day, which is limited to well water or mineral water and tap water, and can't drink boiled water. Boiling water can't maintain human vitality. This is the same reason that goldfish can't survive in cold water. It is a subtle truth in nature, and it is also difficult for science to explain today.

You should drink water slowly and frequently, one small glass at a time. If you don't drink water at all during fasting, you will usually die of dehydration in one week. If you take enough water, it will not be fatal for forty or fifty days.

(2) Wipe the whole body with cold water every day, and don't take a warm bath. When the human body is fasting, the old waste toxins in the body radiate through the skin, so the skin is dirty and smelly. In order to keep clean, it is necessary to take a bath every day. But hot water can make people dizzy, difficult to stand, easy to have disadvantages, and should be avoided, so cold water bath is appropriate.

People who stop eating in cold winter bathe in cold water. So far, there is no precedent for catching a cold, which should be the best proof of increased resistance to diseases.

(3) Excessive activity on an empty stomach is likely to make people physically and mentally exhausted, and accelerate the offset of the natural healing force formed on an empty stomach. As for light exercise, work and reading, there are no obstacles, and at the same time it can alleviate boredom on an empty stomach, but we must remember: don't overwork.

(4) Take laxatives every day. Although castor oil is used to stop diarrhea before fasting, it is impossible to excrete all the feces in the intestinal wall as long as 10 meter at a time by relying on castor oil. Therefore, you should take laxatives again on an empty stomach to let the stool be completely excreted. If you are still constipated after diarrhea, you need to implement enema to promote defecation.

(5) Alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, even a small amount will be harmful. It turns out that people who have this hobby are generally not interested in alcohol and tobacco during fasting, but feel a little uncomfortable because of the sudden change of habits. Some people even quit smoking because of years of fasting.

In addition to these principles, other tips are: don't lie in bed all day, or your physical strength will be weakened and declined quickly. You should do appropriate indoor and outdoor walks or walks, as well as other meditation, aerobics, abdominal breathing, shiatsu and massage; Appropriate watching TV, listening to tape recorders, knitting and tailoring can also be done. But don't be too tired.

(6) Various physical changes

Generally speaking, the upper part of the mouth is sticky, and the tongue coating is white or even black. Exhale also smells, and at the same time, the whole body will emit a unique smell. When I first entered the fast hut, the pungent smell was unbearable, such as entering the abalone house. It is precisely because the residual toxins in the body are excreted through the skin that this phenomenon will also occur in the urine, making it brown, sticky and turbid, and at the same time being born, lazy and dull, like a cloudy day. This is only a phenomenon in the first four or five days, and then it will turn pale and become comfortable.

During the fasting period, some people have neither appetite nor feeling of fasting, and they will not have a strong desire for food until the supplementary feeding period, so the dangerous period of fasting is during the supplementary feeding period rather than the fasting period.

Because the blood volume does not decrease on an empty stomach, it will not become pale and bloodless, and some people even look rosy. The weight will gradually decrease, from 0.5 kg to 0.7 kg per day at first, and it will stabilize in a few days, with an average loss of about 4 kg per week.

Although I don't eat, I still excrete as usual every day, which is stool. Its color is black or brown and muddy, which is very different from normal feces, except for a few exceptions, but it is powdery and solid. The elimination of defecation is not only seen in fasting, but also in diarrhea. Once the stool is discharged, I feel relaxed and free.

(7) Pain response is a harbinger of rapid recovery.

A healthy person who has no disease at all will not have any reaction or pain if he is deprived of food. People who stop eating when they are sick may have the following symptoms:

Before fasting resumes, there are temporary abnormal symptoms, which are called "fasting reaction". Patients with gastroptosis and bradycardia will vomit badly. Spit out the food in the stomach, which is due to the contraction of the stomach; Patients with heart disease have more intense palpitations. On the surface, their symptoms seem to be aggravated by fasting, but they will feel comfortable after a few days. Epilepsy patients often increase the number of seizures in order to fast, but the more complicated the seizures, the faster the improvement.

Abnormal phenomena such as fever, pain, headache, aversion to cold, fasting and laziness are precursors to recovery. Don't worry, it will be eliminated in a few days.

This kind of reaction varies from person to person, even the same disease will have different conditions, and at the same time, the time is not consistent. Some people react immediately on the first day of fasting, some people react after four or five days, and some even appear after the supplementary feeding period.

No matter how you react, although you feel uncomfortable, you should realize that this is a gratifying phenomenon and a good sign that you will get sick. You should hold a down-to-earth optimistic attitude and wait for the day of rejuvenation.

(8) The key to success or failure

(1) Extremely dangerous strong appetite

Can this disease be cured after a specific fasting? The answer is no, fasting only lays the foundation, and the completion of the work lies in the diet after fasting. If this work is not done well, it will not only make the fasting fall short, but even cause great harm.

In short, you must not overeat after fasting. Overeating is the source of disaster, so although our appetite is strong, we should also restrain this instinct and slowly increase our appetite. Start with brown rice soup, apple juice, etc. Then gradually increase vegetables and fish, and finally restore the original diet before breaking the letter.

(2) The effect will take three months.

Generally, the effect will gradually appear after three months of fasting, so there is still no effect within ten days or two weeks after supplementary feeding, so don't be disappointed. After a long time, the effect will eventually appear. The same is true for people who are particularly thin. After fasting, the food should absorb balanced nutrition, minimize the intake of white rice, and emphasize the intake of soybeans, milk, vegetables, laver and fruits. However, if the stomach is not good, it is difficult to digest and absorb the nutrients contained in raw fruits and vegetables and seaweed, so it is advisable to use a juicer to juice and drink.

Sexual relations between men and women should be prohibited for one month after fasting, especially in the first week.

Are there any examples of failure and death in faithless therapy? It can be said that it is rare. In addition to the wrong method, the will is not firm, and the probability is almost zero. However, quite a few people can't give full play to the effect of fasting because of unscientific diet. But in general, fasting can rest the internal organs and other organs, expel the old and waste in the rest room, clean the gastrointestinal tract and blood vessels, and even transform them, which is beneficial to the human body. Everything has advantages and disadvantages, and the advantages and disadvantages are two sides. We will not stop because of the occasional mountain disaster, and even explicitly cancel the mountaineering activities. As far as the dangers are concerned, small ones, such as basketball, baseball and swimming, big ones, such as running and skydiving, may be injured or even killed at any time, but we have not given up the fun and excitement because of this, nor have we done it unwisely because we choked on food. Fasting is the same. Only with proper methods and caution, the risk is very low. But judging from the recovery rate of all recent cases, its value and contribution to the future medical field are incalculable.

Physical and mental purification activities-how to fast

The correct fasting therapy has the following three steps:

The first preparation period: gradually reduce the amount of food;

The second fasting period: eliminating food;

The third feeding stage: gradually increase the food intake.

If you decide to use fruit and vegetable juice to improve your health, you must make a good preparation plan. First, make a 24-hour or 36-hour or 7-day fasting plan for yourself, and strictly implement it at the same time. If you want to fast successfully, you must have positive willpower and perseverance.

Step 1: Prepare for the food reduction period (2 days)

To make fasting successful, it is very important to be prepared to eat less. During the diet, eat some digestible foods, reduce meat, let the digestive system rest gradually, eat raw vegetables as much as possible, avoid high-starch vegetables such as potatoes, and eat more foods with high water and fiber content, especially cabbage, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumber, tomato, carrot, celery, green apple, broccoli, papaya, lettuce (glass lettuce), grapes and oranges.

The main purpose of reducing food is to reduce the burden on the digestive system, avoid acidic food and balance the pH of the body.

Step 2: Fasting period (taking the seven-day fasting method as an example)

You may feel hungry on the first or second day of fasting, especially those who are not prepared to cut down on food. In any case, it is absolutely forbidden to eat any solid food except liquid food during fasting to achieve the effect of fasting.

After the second or third day, you will feel:

Hunger disappears; Clear-headed; Emotional stability; The five senses (smell, hearing, vision, touch, taste) began to be acute; Lose weight; Full of energy.

The above phenomenon varies with the amount of toxin and individual mentality. At the same time, the following phenomena may occur:

Discharge stool, black and smelly; Itchy or scabbed skin; Dyspnea;

Headache or vomiting; Urine is black and smelly; Increased vaginal discharge in women;

Tired and listless; Headache or flatulence; Various symptoms before menstruation;

Chapped or rough lips; Easy to feel dizzy and sick; Chills and fever;

Menstruation is advanced or delayed; Tongue coating, bad breath.

The above phenomenon may last for several days, depending on personal health. These phenomena are normal, don't worry, because this is an inevitable phenomenon in the process of toxin excretion in your body, please wait patiently.

Matters needing attention during fasting:

Drink plenty of water; Fill more fiber; Rest more; Stay away from the busy life and enjoy fasting; Watch less TV; Read less newspapers and magazines; Avoid strenuous exercise that consumes energy; Avoid thinking too much; Avoid staying up late; Not suitable for sex; Do not take medicine (except hypertension, diabetes and heart disease).

Day 1: Detoxification

The second day: combustion and metabolism

Day 3: Remove the old damaged cells.

Fasting from the first day to the third day, only drinking fruit and vegetable juice (removing dregs), drinking fruit juice in the morning and evening, and drinking vegetable juice at noon.

Papaya can be added for indigestion; If the liver is not good, add bitter gourd; Hypertension and carrots.

Fruit and vegetable juice 6-8 cups/day (200ml/ cup); If you can, squeeze it every time you drink it. If there is no condition (going to work) to bring more than one time, lemon 1/2- antioxidant must be added.

How to drink: take a sip slowly, and never take a big sip.

Step 3: The second feeding stage.

Note: If you resume your usual diet and activities too early, it will cause health problems.

The success of fasting depends largely on the success of refeeding. Remember not to comfort yourself too much during the resumption of eating. Can only eat a small amount of food, can only eat seven points full, because the stomach has adapted to digest liquid food after fasting (the stomach capacity has also become smaller). If you eat too much immediately after fasting, it will affect the desired effect, and it will take longer to resume eating than on an empty stomach. If you stop eating for three days, it will take more than six days to resume eating, which will be arranged in three stages. That is, the food you eat slowly changes from liquid, semi-liquid and semi-solid, and then returns to your normal diet.

Methods and requirements are as follows:

Day 4 and 5: Add half the pomace to the juice and start adding soybean milk (like nutritious breakfast).

The sixth and seventh days: high alkaline vegetable soup (celery, carrot, spinach, onion, tomato); Minced meat soup, porridge with a little meat/only one kind of meat is allowed for each meal.

Eighth and ninth days: basically return to a relatively light normal diet level; But don't overeat, don't eat hard food for the time being, and pay attention to choosing foods that are easy to digest.
