How to keep healthy when the nose is dry in autumn?
Many people will have dry and itchy noses and increased nasal secretions in autumn. When cleaning the nasal cavity by hand, you will feel pain, which may be caused by getting angry or being too dry in autumn. So what about dry nose in autumn?

1, moist diet

Dry nose mainly reflects lung dryness, so it needs moistening. If the nose is dry and there are no bleeding symptoms, you can eat more fruits and vegetables such as lotus root, cogongrass rhizome and persimmon to cool blood and moisten dryness. When there is no inflammation, you can apply cod liver oil.

Excessive internal heat will aggravate dry nose, and drinking more water can improve blood circulation in nasal cavity to some extent and relieve symptoms of dry nose; Apples, kiwis, Chinese cabbage, tomatoes and other fruits and vegetables can supplement various vitamins in the body and help to improve the dryness of the nose.

2. Click the Xiang Ying point.

The acupoints opposite the nose are Xiang Ying (on both sides of the nose). Massage this acupoint locally can promote blood circulation. Press Xiang Ying point (the depression of nasolabial groove beside the alar) with the middle finger or forefinger of both hands, 12 times. Massage this point can not only improve local blood supply, prevent nasal diseases, but also prevent facial paralysis.

Pinch both sides of the nasal root with your thumb and forefinger, and pull down forcefully, from top to bottom 12 times. Moving the nose in this way promotes the blood circulation of the nasal mucosa and is conducive to the secretion of normal nasal mucus. Or put your clean thumb and forefinger into the nasal cavity, clamp the cartilage of the nasal septum, and gently pull down 12 times. This method can not only increase the disease resistance of nasal mucosa, prevent colds and rhinitis, but also make the nasal cavity moist and the mucosa rosy, maintain normal body temperature and increase the cold resistance.

Step 3 pull your forehead

Stretching forehead can not only effectively eliminate nasal dryness, increase nasal mucus secretion, keep nasal cavity moist, but also prevent nosebleeds, rhinitis and colds.

Tang Yin point, located between the eyebrows on the forehead, is gently pulled and rubbed with the flexed thumb and forefinger to make it feel numb and swollen locally. Usually knead for 2 minutes. Jiuyintang point can increase the proliferation of epithelial cells of nasal mucosa, promote mucus secretion, keep nasal cavity moist, and stimulate olfactory cells to make sense of smell more sensitive.

Step 4 drink "five-juice drink"

"Five Juices Drink" is an ancient prescription to relieve autumn dryness, which comes from Treatise on Febrile Diseases by Wu Jutong, a famous doctor in Qing Dynasty. The prescription consists of pear, reed rhizome, water chestnut, lotus root and Ophiopogon japonicus. The specific method is: take pear100g, water chestnut 50g, fresh reed rhizome 60g and fresh lotus root100g, wash, peel and chop; Ophiopogon japonicus 10g, soaked in boiling water for one hour, washed and chopped; Then the five materials are mixed and juiced for drinking.

It is recommended that you drink it for 3 days continuously, and the symptoms of nasopharyngeal dryness will be obviously improved. Long-term drinking can also make skin and hair moist again. Let's drink fresh five juices. If there is no fresh reed rhizome and Ophiopogon japonicus in the recipe, you can soak it in boiling water or decoct it to get juice.

5. Rinse the nasal cavity with normal saline.

If the nose is dry and uncomfortable in autumn, you can wash your nose with normal saline. The cleaning method can be a large syringe or a special nozzle cleaning machine. Medical physiological saline should be used when washing, and it is not allowed to be self-mixed. Try not to dip the cotton swab for scrubbing, so as not to damage the capillaries in the nose.

If the nose is dry and uncomfortable, you can also pour a cup of boiling water and let the steam smoke the nose to relieve discomfort and keep it for 5- 10 minutes.

6. Drop your nose with sesame oil

If you feel that the nasal cavity is too dry, you can use a little sesame oil to drop it in your nose, which also plays a role in moisturizing. When the nose is dry, chlortetracycline eye ointment or compound mint nasal drops (paraffin oil) or vegetable oil (such as sesame oil and olive oil) can also be gently applied to the nose.

If the home is too dry, you can put a basin of water at home, or buy an air humidifier to increase the humidity of the indoor air, which can moisturize the whole body skin.

Warm reminder: Never pick your nose.

The nasal mucosa is covered with ciliated mucus system invisible to the naked eye. They are nasal cleaners. These tissues from the back of the nasal cavity to the front of the nasal cavity can block dust, and the nasal scab is deposited by what is sucked in. This cleaning takes 15 minutes as a cycle, and basically all the stolen goods inhaled into the nasal cavity can be discharged.

Therefore, it is a very bad habit to pick your nose with your fingers, because this rude action will damage the ciliary mucus system of the nose and destroy its self-cleaning function. The correct method is to take a sterile cotton swab, dip it in normal saline and gently pull out the nasal scab from the inside out.

In addition, human nasal mucosa secretes mucus all the time to moisten the nasal membrane, moisten the inhaled air, and adhere to dust, dust and microorganisms inhaled from the air. The product of this process is runny nose. So in the same way, blowing your nose should not be too rude. The correct way is to stand up, lean forward, cover your nose with a paper towel, blow hard, and wipe your nose with a paper towel.
