However, although the construction of epoxy floor paint in winter is difficult and the quality is difficult to guarantee, if the project really needs to be constructed in winter or low temperature environment, the following methods can be referenced.

1, separation low temperature period.

During the construction of epoxy floor paint, the low temperature period should be separated as far as possible, and the construction should start after 10 in the morning and stop at 3 pm to reduce the influence of low temperature.

2. Raise the room temperature.

Raise the indoor temperature to above 5 degrees, so that construction can also be carried out in winter. Many factories in the north have heating, which can be turned on before and during construction.

3. Add solvent.

Solvents with faster volatilization rate below 5%, such as acetone, ethyl acetate and butyl acetate, can be added. This can solve the problems of high viscosity and insufficient leveling of floor paint at low temperature.

4, paint heating.

Put the paint in a warm environment or heat it with steam or hot water. But be careful not to let steam or hot water enter the paint, and the temperature of hot water should be controlled below 38 degrees.
