The following is a brief introduction of Hua Tuo.
Hua Tuo (from the 2nd century to the beginning of the 3rd century) was a character, a native of Guo (now Hao County, Anhui Province). When I was young, I visited Xuzhou to study. "Knowing the classics, knowing the art of nature." Pei Gui recommended him, and Qiu Huang Wan asked him to be an official, but he declined one by one, so he devoted himself to medical and health care. He practiced medicine everywhere, and his footprints and fame spread all over Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and other provinces. Cao Cao heard that Hua Tuo's medical skill was superb, so he called him to Xuchang as his own doctor. Cao Cao was often dizzy from head wind, and Huatuo acupuncture cured him. However, honest Hua Tuo was unwilling to serve Cao Cao's side, and even thought that being a doctor was a shameful profession, so he went home to get prescription drugs on the pretext that his wife was ill and never came back. Cao Cao repeatedly wrote letters urging Hua Tuo and ordered local counties to send him back. Finally, I sent someone to secretly inspect, only to know that Hua Tuo was unwilling to serve the doctor, so I arrested Hua Tuo. Someone asked Zeng Cao to forgive Hua Tuo, but Cao Cao refused to listen to persuasion and brutally killed Hua Tuo.
Hua Tuo wrote a medical book before his death. When he died, he took out a roll and gave it to the jailer. The jailer dared not accept it. Hua tuo burned books. This is a regret throughout the ages. There are several kinds of medical books published in the name of Hua Tuo. According to legend, some of Hua Tuo's academic experience, prescriptions and medical skills are all recorded in the old title China Jing written by Hua Tuo.
After Cao Cao killed Hua Tuo, he often felt guilty and regretful, especially when his beloved son Cang Shu (Cao Chong) was seriously ill. He regretted killing Hua Tuo so much that his son's illness could not be treated. As early as the Three Kingdoms period, Hua Tuo was listed as a famous doctor by Wei, and later generations praised him as "the originator of surgery".
Hua tuo is proficient in medicine, especially surgery. According to "Biography of Hua Tuo in the Later Han Dynasty", Hua Tuo "was good at prescribing prescriptions, but there were only a few kinds of medicines, and it was true that he was divided into Thai baht. Acupuncture is just a few places. If it is caused by illness and acupuncture can't reach it, he will get drunk first and have no sleep. If he breaks his abdomen, he will accumulate. There are dozens of medical records of Hua Tuo, all of which embody Hua Tuo's brilliant medical skills, involving internal and external medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics, facial features, acupuncture and other disciplines. He adapted himself to his illness and adopted various treatments. He cured diseases such as intestinal carbuncle and semi-rot of spleen by surgery, which turned the patient from danger to safety. When Hua Tuo successfully anesthetized patients with Mafeisan and performed abdominal surgery, surgical anesthesia in other countries in the world was still in the exploratory stage. It is in the prevention and treatment of other diseases that Hua Tuo is good at treating according to syndrome differentiation. He cured dizziness (similar to hypertension and cerebral arteriosclerosis) by pricking blood therapy.
Huatuo paid special attention to health preservation and preventive health care, and put it into practice, which was unique in theory and practice. Hua Tuo "knows the art of nature, but he is still a hundred years old, and people think he is immortal." He said to his disciples, "The human body should do work, but it should not be extreme." . Shake it, the valley gas will disappear, the blood will circulate, and the disease will not be born. For example, the household pivot will be immortal. "(Biography of Hua Tuo in the Later Han Dynasty) He summed up and created the" Five Birds Play ",imitating the movements of deer, bears, tigers, apes and birds. Regular practice can strengthen the body and eliminate diseases. If you feel sick, you will feel relaxed, if you play a game of bird and sweat. Hua Tuo also attached importance to abstinence and health care. He created a drug with anti-aging effect, which can nourish the five internal organs, make people fit and blacken their hair after long-term administration.
Li Dangzhi, a disciple of Hua Tuo, is the author of Li Dang's Medical Record. Upp often practices wuqinxi. In his nineties, he is still alert and alert, and his teeth are clenched. His works include six volumes of Upton's materia medica. Fan A, a native of Pengcheng, is good at acupuncture and deep needling. He followed Professor Hua Tuo's regimen and lived 100 years old.
