What's the matter with some mildew on the bottom of the pot?
It is normal to have mildew on the bottom of the electric kettle, because daily water contains impurities such as calcium and magnesium. After heating, a part of it is deposited at the bottom of the pot, so there are small spots like mildew spots. With the increase of boiling times, this phenomenon becomes more and more serious, and finally forms "scale".

How to remove the scale at the bottom of electric kettle

To remove the scale, you can add 50 ml of vinegar to the kettle, then add water, the water is not too full, and then boil. Don't cover the kettle, lest it overflow.

Turn off the power immediately after boiling, repeat it three times, then pour it out, clean it with a soft scouring pad, and then use it after washing.

Because scale is carbonate, it can be dissolved by acidic substances. If you want to avoid scale, you can use pure water.
