How to use autoclave correctly, what should I pay attention to?
1, heating exhaust

Open the exhaust valve, let the water boil, and remove the cold air in the pot. After the cold air is completely exhausted, close the exhaust valve.

2, heat preservation and pressure maintenance

When the pressure in the pot rises to 1Kg/cm2, control the heat source and maintain the pressure to15min.

3, out of the pot

Cut off the power supply and let the temperature in the sterilizer drop naturally. When the pressure drops to 0, open the exhaust valve, unscrew the bolt, open the cover and take out the sterilized items. Otherwise, the pressure in the pot is high, and the pressure difference caused by opening the air valve may splash the culture medium in the container, cause the cotton plug to pollute the culture medium, and even make the container explode.

4. Processing

Sterilized experimental instruments are usually dried in an oven at 60℃~80℃ to remove moisture during sterilization and avoid pollution.

Precautions:

1. The requirements for placing items are neat and stable. And a gap needs to be left.

2. When capping, insert the exhaust hose on the cap into the exhaust slot of the inner sterilization barrel, and tighten two opposite bolts symmetrically at the same time, so that the bolts are consistent in tightness and avoid air leakage.

3. When opening the sterilization lid after sterilization, be careful not to put your face close, otherwise the steam will cause harm to your face.
