Temperate monsoon climate. Jinan is located in the eastern monsoon region north of Huaihe River in Qinling Mountains, and it has a typical temperate monsoon climate. Winter is cold and dry, summer is hot and rainy, and the four seasons are distinct. In the same period of rain and heat, the water and heat conditions are properly matched, so that crops and trees can get enough heat and water in the vigorous growth period.
