Lingang Economic Development Zone is located in the easternmost part of Linyi City, covering the four towns of Shang Ping, Tuanlin, Zhuanggang and Zhulu in Junan County. After the establishment of Lingang District, it no longer belongs to Junan, but, like high-tech zones and development zones, is directly under Linyi Municipal Government.

20 19 The original Linyi Lingang Economic Development Zone, Junan Economic Development Zone and Junan Lingang Industrial Park merged to form a new Linyi Lingang Economic Development Zone with a total area of 352.2 square kilometers.

Linyi Lingang Economic Development Zone governs Pingzhen, Tuanlin Town, Zhuanggang Town and Zhulu Town, with a total area of 365 square kilometers, 150 administrative villages and a population of 200,000.
