Healthy baby?
Many parents think that babies should not be given cold drinks, cold drinks, watermelons, pears and other "cold" things in summer.

Actually, this is a misunderstanding.

Cold water

Whether food or water is acceptable, the most important thing is our eating habits and preferences.

Cold water and cold food pass through the mouth and esophagus, and when they reach the stomach, they are no longer cold and will not cause harm to the baby's stomach.

In some cases, for example, if the baby has inflammation of the pharynx and cheeks and other diseases that make the mouth and throat uncomfortable, eating a cold drink properly will make the baby feel better.

However, it should be noted here that if the baby has been eating warm food and warm water and suddenly eats a lot of cold food and cold water, it is likely to cause gastrointestinal discomfort because of inadaptability.

melons and fruit

For a healthy baby, a moderate amount of fruit will not affect health. Babies should not be restricted from eating certain kinds of fruits unless they are allergic to certain fruits. Even when you are ill, you should eat rich fruits and vegetables.

If some fruits make your baby have symptoms such as diarrhea, you need to consider two questions:

First, whether the baby is intolerant or allergic to this fruit;

If the baby is allergic to a certain fruit, the symptoms may be diarrhea and eczema.

In addition, some children may have different degrees of fructose intolerance (that is, they can't digest fructose well), which shows that eating some fruits is easier to have diarrhea (fructose intolerance), while eating other fruits is not.

Second, whether the fruit the baby eats is infected by germs.

The freshness of fruit and the cleanliness of cleaning will affect its infection with germs to varying degrees. If you eat unclean fruit, it is easy to cause symptoms such as diarrhea.

Therefore, in summer, it is no problem to give your baby cold drinks, cold drinks and fruits within an acceptable range.
