How to treat gout?
Acute gout attack is mainly anti-inflammatory treatment. There are three drugs:

1, glucocorticoids, also known as hormones, such as intravenous dexamethasone, intramuscular diprospan, oral prednisone or methylprednisolone. Specific medication should go to the hospital to find a specialist to prescribe medicine, and you can't just use it yourself.

2, colchicine, you can buy it in a pharmacy, don't eat so much every day according to the instructions, eat diarrhea, eat up to three tablets a day.

3, anti-inflammatory painkillers, there are many kinds of drugs in this category, such as diclofenac, ibuprofen, celecoxib, amrital, loxoprofen sodium and so on. But you can only eat one of them. Never eat two or more at the same time.

These three drugs can be combined with one or two drugs in acute gout, and can also be used externally, such as Qingpeng Ointment and Votaline Ointment. When gout attacks, you should also take sodium bicarbonate orally to alkalize urine to prevent kidney calculi.

There is another mistake that many people are prone to make. If you don't take uric acid lowering drugs at ordinary times, don't add these drugs when gout attacks. After the joint pain is cured, add these uric acid lowering drugs, such as allopurinol, benzbromarone and febuxostat. This medicine must be added after the joint pain gets better. If uric acid is not added or reduced, gout will recur in the future.

In addition, in terms of life, you should drink more water during the acute attack of gout and ensure at least 2000ml of urine every day. In terms of diet, we must pay attention to the low purine diet, that is, we must eat foods with low purine content, do not drink, eat meat, eat hot pot and seafood, eat as little soy products as possible, and eat more light vegetables and whole grains. The fastest way to relieve gout is as follows:

1, lifestyle intervention, try to eat low purine food, drink more water, and let uric acid be excreted from the urinary tract;

2, drugs, drugs that can quickly relieve gout symptoms, such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, enalapril, celecoxib and so on. Or colchicine, which can be used together with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to control the acute symptoms of gout, and can also be used as a preventive drug for gout attack. Glucocorticoid is also very effective in controlling gout, but hormone is a double-edged sword, which has both advantages and disadvantages. Be sure to master the indications and contraindications of glucocorticoid use.
