What is the difference between cupping and scrapping?
Cupping and scrapping are both external treatments of traditional Chinese medicine. The two therapies have their own advantages and disadvantages, but there are also similarities.

Difference:

Scraping focuses on expelling wind, heat and dampness, and cupping focuses on expelling wind, cold and dampness. Generally, people with strong system or excess syndrome are suitable for scraping, while those with weak constitution or deficiency syndrome are suitable for cupping. But for some painful diseases, such as the pain caused by cervical spondylosis and lumbar spondylosis, the effect of scraping is more obvious than cupping, because the scope of scraping treatment is relatively large and can treat the whole muscle, while cupping can only act on the local part of the muscle, but not on the spasm and pain of the whole muscle.

Cupping, also known as cupping and cupping therapy, is a method that uses cupping as a tool to exhaust the air in cupping, generate negative pressure, and adsorb it on the acupoints or body surface of the pulled part, so that the skin of the pulled part is stimulated and congested, thus achieving the purpose of preventing and treating diseases.
