Maybe you think that the Valley of the King of Medicine only exists in film and television novels, but in reality there is a real Valley of the King of Medicine, so where is it?

Wang Yaogu is located in Wang Yao Mountain, which borders jiangyou city in Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County, Mianyang City. It is a famous 4A-level tourist attraction in China, with an altitude of 1, 400-2000m and a total area of 10 square kilometer. Wang Yaogu is close to the East Line of the Ninth Ring Road (Jiangyou-Pingwu), close to Jiuhuangshan Scenic Area, 23 kilometers away from jiangyou city, Li Bai's hometown, and 64 kilometers away from Mianyang City.

The area where Wang Yaogu is located is rich in Chinese herbal medicines, and there are centuries-old medicinal trees in the mountains. According to legend, many famous doctors such as Qi Bo, Wang Yao Sun Simiao, Liu Shenwei and Li Shizhen, the grandfathers of traditional Chinese medicine, came to this mountain to collect medicines and treat diseases. The residents on the mountain have always had the custom of offering sacrifices to Wang Yao Bodhisattva, hence the name Wang Yaogu.

The first Wangyaogu scenic spot with the theme of TCM health preservation is the first mountain tourist resort with the theme of TCM health preservation in China. It is also the first newly-built scenic spot in Sichuan Province after the earthquake. Wang Yaogu's development and construction cost 320 million yuan, and it was officially opened to the public on March 28th, 20 10. Up to now, it receives millions of tourists every year, especially in hot summer, which is the best choice for tourists.

There are seven large and small caves in Wang Yao Valley with different shapes. On the top of the mountain of Wang Yaogu, there is a 20-meter-high white pharmacist Buddha statue called "Wang Yaofo", which can be seen several kilometers below the mountain. It is the landmark architectural landscape of Wang Yaogu.
