Miyi Valley is the birthplace of Zhuan Xu, the second emperor among the Three Emperors and Five Emperors. Known as "the hometown of Zhuan Xu, the hometown of sunshine, and the hometown of Miyi", it was named "the hometown of culture in Zhuan Xu, China" in March 20 16.

It covers an area of 2 153 square kilometers, governs 12 townships, and has 26 ethnic groups including Han, Yi and Lisu with a population of 220,000. There is a world-class national kayak slalom training base and a national AAA-level scenic tourist area to Xulongdong.

The county people's government is located in Panlian town, 80 kilometers away from Panzhihua city, and is located by the quiet river with beautiful scenery. At present, the urban area has reached 5 square kilometers. Panzhihua:

Panzhihua is the only city named after flowers in China, enjoying the reputation of "flowers are cities and cities are flowers"; Panzhihua is the first city in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, where Jinsha River and Yalong River meet.

Panzhihua is the gateway of Sichuan to the south and the closest point of Sichuan to South Asia and Southeast Asia.
