Why do people like drinking tea so much?
Tea, which originated in China, is a natural drink first invented by China people and is deeply loved by people all over the world. People like drinking tea because, as an original ecological product, it has a natural, elegant and refreshing fragrance. Second, it is rich in various components beneficial to human body, and has various health care functions such as refreshing the brain, promoting fluid production to quench thirst, stimulating the vitality of brain cells, and preventing cholesterol from rising. Third, tea drinking has been carried forward by the Chinese nation and developed into an elegant culture, which has both a tranquil program with great aesthetic value and a modest connotation. It embodies the unique cultural concept of the orientals, so it is naturally loved by everyone. It is well documented that China is the hometown of tea. First, in July of 1980, the only oldest tea seed fossil in the world was unearthed in Qinglong, Guizhou, and was identified as "the tea seed fossil of Neogene Siqiu tea" by experts such as Nanjing Institute of Paleontology, Guizhou Institute of Geochemistry, Guizhou Institute of Geology and Guizhou Academy of Tea Sciences. Secondly, the so-called tea does not refer to the original leaves, but refers to a special production process of beverages. The earliest record of drinking tea was found in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Jinchangqu's "Huayang Guozhi" not only records that "Zhou Wuwang is the teacher of Bashu, and ... tea honey ... is paid tribute." This shows that tea was given to Zhou Wuwang as a tribute together with other precious products when King Wu of Zhou cut down. At the same time, Huayang Guozhi also recorded that there were artificially cultivated tea gardens at that time. Regarding tea as a beverage, the most complete record in ancient times is Lu Yu's Tea Classic in Tang Dynasty, which not only records the history of tea beverage: "Tea is a beverage, which originated from Shennong." (Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica also records: "Shennong tasted a hundred herbs and encountered 72 poisons every day, and solved them with tea"), and described the processing technology of tea, tea drinking culture and tea ceremony procedures. However, there is no literature record of tea processing technology and tea drinking culture in ancient foreign countries.

Therefore, some foreigners and domestic and foreign scholars try to confuse the concept of tea as a natural leaf with the concept of tea as a beverage after processing, so as to dilute the cultural self-confidence of the Chinese nation, which is meaningless and unfounded.
