Longhushan is the "ancestral court" of Taoist orthodoxy. In the history of Taoism in China, it has the status, function and great influence of connecting the past with the future. Longhu Mountain, formerly known as Yunjin Mountain, is a unique Xiushui Lingshan in the south of the Yangtze River. The peak here stretches for dozens of miles, which is formed by a branch of Xiangshan (Ying Tianshan Mountain) to the west. According to legend, ninety-nine dragons gather here, and the mountain looks at the dragon plate, like a tiger, and the dragon and tiger compete. The clear water floats from the far east, walking slowly along the mountain, turning around the mountain to the peak, like taking a nap, like falling in love with the scenery, turning white when crossing the beach, turning green when meeting the beach, or whispering or meditating. Ninety-nine peaks and twenty-four rocks, the water is the softest, flowing around the mountain, full of masculinity of ninety-nine dragons, green mountains and green waters, full of spirituality. Soon, Lingshan was fascinated by the beautiful water, and sent two cranes to guide Zhang Daoling and his disciples to enter and leave the mountain gate to practice alchemy. The mountain god noticed that the dragon and tiger appeared to replace Yunjin. Since then, Longhu Mountain ranks first among the famous Taoist mountains with its beautiful scenery, and is known as the first fairyland of Taoism.

After Zhang Daoling's practice of alchemy in Longhu Mountain, from the fourth generation at the end of Han Dynasty, all Chinese dynasties lived here, guarding Longhu Mountain to seek immortality and art, sitting in the Qing Palace to teach and educate people, and living in the government to cultivate one's morality. Hereditary orthodoxy lasted for 63 generations, and Yi Shi lived 1800 years old. They were all worshipped and canonized by the feudal dynasty. They were all first-rate officials, extremely officials and ministers. In the later Han Dynasty, the Shangqing Palace and Shitianfu were given numerous silvers by successive dynasties, which were expanded and maintained many times. The building area, scale, layout, quantity and specifications of the palace are the highest in the history of Taoist architecture. In its heyday, Longhu Mountain built more than 80 Taoist temples, 36 Taoist temples and several Taoist palaces. It is a veritable "Taoist capital" and a Taoist world kingdom.

In addition, the Xiangshan Academy in Longhu Mountain Scenic Area is the birthplace of the "Epiphany" school of ancient philosophy in China. Mazuyan in Jinlong Peak is a place where Mazudao, one of the greatest Zen masters in the history of Zen, participated in Zen and realized Taoism in his early days. The cliff tomb of salt water rock is a wonder in the history of burial custom in China. "Fairy Flower Show" is the first scene in Taoism, the first scene in the world, and so on. "Dragon and Tiger Mountain Records and Arts" contains: "Dragon and Tiger Mountain was praised by Wei, Jin, Tang and Song Dynasties. If the mountains and rivers win, the palace is beautiful, there are many people, the fairy tales are different, and the road gods are outstanding. On the contrary, I admire those who want to be gorgeous, or the beauty is in poetry. The hanging stone has been passed down for more than a thousand years. " Longhu Mountain has accumulated rich Taoist cultural heritage for thousands of years, its prominent ancestor in the history of Taoism in China and its contribution to the development of Taoism in China. It is recognized as "the first mountain of Taoism" and has a very important position in the history of world religions.

In recent years, Longhu Mountain Scenic Area has made great efforts to strengthen the excavation and construction of Taoist cultural connotation, and launched a "sports" tour route to understand the general situation of Taoism and appreciate the grandeur of Taoist ancestral courts.
