Qingyang Palace is the first Taoist temple in western Sichuan. It was preserved in the palace in the thirty-second year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1906).
The Classic Edition of Taoist Collection is the most complete version of Taoist classics in China today. The existing buildings of Qingyang Palace were basically rebuilt during the reign of Kangxi, and only Doulao Hall was the only remaining Ming Dynasty style.
Visitors who are interested in Laozi and Zhuangzi's classics and massage can also attend lectures of Laozi and Zhuangzi Academy.
According to legend, Xianbo, the son of ancient times, turned sheep into Shu and Taiqing Palace. Qingyang Palace has an elegant environment, constant bells, quiet and quiet, and is in a leisurely place in the downtown area. Qingyang Palace is a Taoist temple, in which there are many Taoist priests, with long hair hanging over their heads and fixed with hairpins, just like Taoist priests seen on TV, men and women. Ticket 10 yuan, student ticket 5 yuan. There is a teahouse where you can drink tea. The scenery is beautiful and suitable for taking pictures. You get off work around 5: 30, and all the halls inside are closed and cleaned. There are not many tourists, so it is worth visiting.
Tickets are not expensive, at least I think it is more cost-effective than going to Wen Shu Hospital. Qingyang Palace is very big, with little commercial flavor. You can see the white Datura in full bloom at the door, and there are many kinds of vegetation. There is a small yard inside, one for each person, which is quite interesting. The locals all go there to help clean up, which is very orderly. You can also see that Taoist priests are cleaning incense burners, unlike many temples that sell incense and ask for a sign to solve the problem of cheating money. Qingyang Palace is very disciplined.
It's only a few stops by bus from Du Fu Caotang. A temple with great atmosphere.
The first stop to Chengdu is Qingyang Palace, the first scenic spot in western Sichuan. Located in the city, next to the main road, but the scenery is very quiet, quiet and interesting.
Take bus 58/42, three stops, spacious entrance. The most important thing is that there are not many tourists here during the National Day holiday. Many people took a photo at the door and left without going in. Tickets are sold on the east side of the entrance, 10 yuan/person. I didn't expect the Taoist temple to be so big, and one after another, the incense was strong. Many locals like to visit it. Personally, I don't know much about Taoism, so I pay more attention to architecture and statues. There are many figurines, architectural sculptures, bronze statues of Qingyang and roofs on the eaves, which are very interesting. I really admire the intelligence of the ancients.
One pavilion is a forum, and sometimes there are Taoist lectures. Friends you like must check the time and come back. On the way out, I met a teahouse. I really admired the leisure life of Chengdu people, especially the quiet environment of Qingyang Palace. It was great to have tea and rub hemp.
