Zhuangzi came from the Western Jin Dynasty. Who wrote it?
There are 52 Zhuangzi's recorded in The History of Han Art and Literature. Guo Xiang, a famous scholar in the Western Jin Dynasty, deleted 33 of them, which were divided into three parts: internal, external and miscellaneous. It is divided into seven chapters, namely, Happy Travel, Theory of Everything, Master of Health, Human Life, De Chongfu, Tai Shang Huang and Emperor Ying. There are 15 foreign articles, including Tian Zifang and Qiu Shui. There are 1 1 essays, and there are Xu Wugui, foreign objects, and columns. Guo Xiang's notes are profound and unique, and have been highly praised by all previous dynasties. So this book was widely circulated after the Tang Dynasty and gradually became the final version. Most scholars believe that the inner part is basically from Zhuangzi himself, while the outer part and miscellaneous parts are basically from Zhuangzi's later studies.
